It used to be a good fintech but now…

It used to be a good fintech but now they closed all my accounts and they are purging every account based in bali. They forgot that we were part of the backbones of their success when they started and now we are ditched like old socks. I don’t recommend this bank.

their account closure check not covered!

I had an extremely frustrating and concerning experience with Mercury that I feel others should be aware of.
My account was abruptly closed without any clear or adequate explanation, and my funds—over $6,478 USD—were held for 60 days. During that time, communication was limited and unhelpful, which only added to the stress of the situation.
After the holding period, I was issued a check to recover my balance. Unfortunately, the check has proven problematic and, as far as I can tell, is not being honored or properly covered. This has left me in an even worse position than before, with no clear resolution in sight.
From my perspective, this situation has been mishandled from start to finish. The lack of transparency, delays in accessing my own funds, and the issues with the final payment are unacceptable.
I have filed complaints with the appropriate regulatory bodies, including the FDIC and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and I am preparing to pursue this matter further through small claims court if necessary.
I strongly urge others to proceed with caution and fully understand the risks before trusting this platform with their money.

Frustrated application, poor fintech

My application for account opening was rejected twice with no reason and no feedback of support team despite my full compliance of requirements and information requested !. Very frustrated, I would NOT recommend this Fintech, please stay away from this Fintech and go to another alternatives (relay, airwalex…)

Really happy with our banking…

Really happy with our banking experience. Single criticism is that cash management solutions are available only for balances above$250,000. So if we want our idle cash to earn anything we have to park it elsewhere.

hard not to say good things about mercury. product seems bullet proof and it just works. reduces friction in the right ways. i believe it will do a lot more than it does today in due time.

BAD SERVICE NOT CLIENT CENTERED

I opened a business bank account with them, and only three days later they closed it without my approval, without calling me, and without giving me any explanation. I emailed them to ask why, and this was their response:

“We are unable to provide more detailed information regarding the reason your account was closed, and we are not able to reconsider.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Ren”

I find this completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would not recommend this bank at all.

Opened a business account with Mercury…

Opened a business account with Mercury for my startup (Vis Labs). The account was closed within 2 days—no funds had been deposited, and no explanation was provided.

I contacted support and received no response.

The issue is not just the closure, but the complete lack of transparency and communication. For a company that markets itself as startup-friendly, this experience was disappointing and disruptive.

Would not recommend.
