I ordered some photos to be collected from Max Speilmann booth in Tesco. 16 of the 20 photos had been misprinted with lines in the picture. I contacted Max Speilmann via their online contact form... See more

I would advise anyone not to pick the glitter mug, as it goes over your tiny pictures, feels cheap, and cannot be put in the dishwasher. However, the customer service I received upon my review, was excellent, and I am happy to say the end result is to my satisfaction.

Max Spielman photograph machine in Tesco Polmont. Beware if you have been directed to a third party site. This site TOTALAV is a malicious virus that they are aware of & trying to deal with it.
Customer Care (Timpsons) replied to my issues with this promptly which has now given me the confidence to deny this company any payment they THINK may be due.
TotalAV has requested more information to verify my true experience with them.
I have now raised a case for refund through PayPal. The information TOTALAV is personal information and for my security this will not be forwarded, especially when Max Spielman (Timpsons) regard them as using a malicious virus to invade their product

Great experience at the Loughborough Branch , such helpful guys, really great passport photo taken professionally , available instantly as a digital code to use online along with four professionally printed cut out photos, given in a little wallet. Perfect!
Of course as soon as you get your new passport photo you find your passport….. but the guys in store also gave me great advice on what to do if you have lost it.
Really impressed and such helpful team members at this branch .

I usually don’t write reviews, but I have to to write one for this company.
Last week, I had issue with one of self-service kiosk in one of stores in London.
My photos stop to print halfway through, I thought I lost my money because I wouldn’t never heard about them. I send an email, I got responses one day after.
With the offer refund or voucher.
I would like to say thanks to Stephen and Barry.

I visited the Gray's shop (Unit 28B, West Mall, Greys Shopping Centre, West Mall, Greys RM17 6QE) last week (Tuesday evening) to print photos of my child. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely upsetting for both my son and me.
My son is autistic and requires close supervision, as he may not always understand boundaries.
While I was engaged with another staff member at the photo kiosk, my son accidentally touched something on the till.
In response, the staff member at the till slapped his hand and called him “a little thief”. I found this behaviour completely unacceptable and distressing.
At the time, I was already managing the printing process and could not manage two things simultaneously, which the staff member could clearly see.
I would expect empathy, understanding, and professionalism in such situations, especially when dealing with a child.
I have also observed this staff member behaving discourteously towards other customers from ethnic minority backgrounds.
On one occasion, customers who arrived after 5:00 pm were made to feel unwelcome, with comments suggesting that they would cause staff to miss their bus and that next time they would put both stutters down.
However, as your shop’s opening hours clearly state that it is open until 5:30 pm, customers should reasonably expect to access services without feeling rushed or discouraged.
This behaviour is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards of customer service expected.
As a paying customer, I do not expect to be treated in this way.

I called them and said I was going to send them an email for prints. I went to the location 2 hours later (Granger Street, Newcastle Monument)and was told they had deleted the email. I wasn't happy, but sent them again to the shop. I was then told the emails had no attachments, even though I was looking at the email I forwarded, with the attachments. The tone in all of the responses was passive-aggressive by one particular woman. So I went to another shop and followed the same process, and mysteriously, the same emails had attachments. To clarify, I have a B.A. Hons in graphic design, so I know what I am doing. I'd never return, as the customer service was really poor and a complete waste of my time. Also, the basic knowledge of the staff was mind-boggling. One lady did offer some kindness, but the person I assume is the manager has zero customer service skills. P.S. I also used to work in a printing shop exactly like this. Calling people darling in a passive-aggressive manner is so transparent and will lose you many, many customers.

I recently went to the CrossGates Leeds store & the lady whose name tag read Kim(nice but Dim) was absolutely LOVELY. She had a lot going on but still dealt with us with compassion & care (my Dad passed away & was getting a picture for his Birthday ti give to my mum) I paid for the engraving & she added some beautiful angel wings. It was such a lovely touch she did it all quicker than she 1st said & she was just so nice & thoughtful

I had been recommended to try out this company by a shop keeper to help obtain and print out photos stuck on my late mother's mobile phone and I am happy and delighted to have taken it. This company has multiple stops nationwide and in my case it is located inside a supermarket that is reachable by bus, which is handy for disabled customer like me. The staff were very kind, knowledgable, always hands on and very sympathetic and supportive when I told them of my circumstances. They were able to access the photos, select the photo size and style I preferred, in this case, 6 x 4 in matt finish, which is recommended for standard photos to be placed in a photo album, as they mentioned. The machines they use are fantastic and top class as the photos came out wonderfully. They have the option for instant print or 5 day processing for more photos to print out. I chose the latter and all 500 plus photos are ready and I collected them later on in a well wrapped packaging and their price range is good and reasonable. Now I have good photos with images of my late parents during their holidays that I shall keep, remember and cherish for as long as I live. Thank you so much for the staff at Max Spielmann for helping me with this and providing great quality service and support as a result.

Tesco’s at Clifton Moor, York.
I made a mistake with my wedding canvas. I emailed to ask if there was anything Max Spielmann could do, and they offered a new one free of charge. Chelsea helped me re-do it, and she was extremely helpful and understanding with me! It’s so good to know there’s still some nice people in the world!!
Thank you Chelsea x

I went to Tesco Portwood on Monday 01.06.2026 for a scan of an A3 document and the assistant serving is an idiot, he first said he could copy it onto 2 pieces of paper, I said no I want it scanning, he proceeded and then asked for my email address so I spelt it out letter by letter, (I don't know why he didn't just ask me), and nothing came through on my phone, he then lied to me saying this area is a cold spot for the internet, so I went around the floor to do some shopping. When I came home I checked my laptop and still nothing came through, nor did anything else on the Tuesday. So on the Wednesday I went back and asked him to send it again and could I check the email address, it was wrong; in the end I went to Reyman in Stockport and nothing was too much trouble for them. I have a small scanner at home and I'm scanning documents and getting rid of the paper copies. I will not use Max Spielman ever again.

Went into Max Spielman in Asda Trafford park. I was struggling downloading pictures from my phone. The member of Staff Ryan was a great help. He was very helpful, Knowledgeable and above all patient.

I ordered 80 flyers for a charity project in May, and was printed poor quality, sometimes illegible pages. Some of the pages had been printed on paper that already had writing on, and others were printed with nothing on the back (despite paying for double sided). We had only hired people for flying for a few hours, so a reprint wasn't a possibility (nor was it offered). When we shared the quality issues afterwards, Max Spielmann said they'd need all 80 flyers back in order to process any sort of refund (despite extensive photographic evidence of the terrible quality).
The service has been terrible. I have sent a further refund request, and hope to hear back soon, but for now I will recommend to avoid this company.

Visited Tesco, Oakley Road, Corby and a young man sorted out photos for me from a memory stick for a funeral.
He was professional and the service I received was exemplary. He fitted photo in frame for when I got back.
His name was Thomas and, this young man is an asset to your Company. Customer Service was excellent.

Less than a one star. Ordered a picture for a gift at the weekend. Paid for express delivery. Arrived Thursday which is later than even the standard service. Opened it and the glass frame was smashed. What am absolute joke of a company. I will obviously never use them again. I am sure they will "take these comments onboard" but that doesn't really help me.
