Don't buy from any garage who use this…

Don't buy from any garage who use this company for their warrenty, my cam box chain went in my car with only 70k Km on the car and they said they would only cover a certain amount and if the cost of the job went over they weren't providing a replacement vehicle I was left 3 weeks without any car, terrible service

Fraud insurance company…

Mawdy insurance.my engine part was gone they sent me their own garage.and he checked on computer and found out engine part was gone he said the insurance company cover the part and when he call the company guy front of me the guy said the insurance covers the part when he asked for mileage I drive only 5000 in five months when he asked for mileage he refused to pay for the part I bought the car for driving not to keep in museum or display they try to rob people and do scam together.no point to pay 175 for insurance if they don't cover anything they should close the insurance company I want to aware every one so that the people get away from the company totally fraud company and staff 😡😡😡 hi thanks for replying.I contact yesterday, they talked very rudely and hang up the phone.Garage people told me , mawadi insurance cover the part even the garage man called the company was talking to David and gave all the details about the part thats gone,part was covered he told him.When he said the miliage is 140920 then he said we don't cover and he refused to pay money the garage man gave the quotation for more than 400. He asked me if they don't pay and you want to pay from your pocket then we will charge 227 euro.I payed 40 euro to different garage to get it checked from computer.Garage people and your company mislead the people.If your company doesn't cover anything then why you charging money for insurance.You should close your business and stop cheating the people.My car engine was losing the power because of the part.,Thank you so much for your kindness

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed with this insurance company. They denied my claim unfairly and, shockingly, requested medical details and a certificate from someone not on the policy, which is a clear GDPR violation. Poor service, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.

Stay away from these people

Stay away from these people, how they can call them selfs a company is beyond me, don’t pay out on flights, and when asking about what can I claim under I was completely ghosted or even looking for assistance on the matter what can I claim under there has been no reply, I wouldn’t even give them a star only the fact I had to write this to warn people about them. A solicitor has now been involved and I’ll get some what justice from these or Multi trip

Terrible company

Terrible company. Stay away. Avoid at all costs. Refuse to pay out on cancelations and cancelled flights. Use another company.

ExCellent experience with Touring Club Italiano and MAPFRE

I was put in contact with MAPFRE by Touring Club Italiano, Assistenza Stradale, to which I subscribe, and which I contacted in Biella (Italy) from the Ikea carpark in Exeter (England). The master cylinder of my clutch had given up the ghost, and the gear of the car would not engage.
Sara Sassone, for MAPFRE, politely explained that since I was not in Italy, once I had myself found a mechanic prepared to accept the work I should ring back with the address and she could then find and engage a breakdown lorry to take my car to the mechanic.
Having found the mechanic, I rang back with the address at 11.25; at 11.43 I was contacted on my phone by the driver of the breakdown lorry, which arrived a quarter of an hour later.
I received several calls from Sara ensuring that all was proceeding well.
Thank you Sara, MAPFRE, and Touring Club Italiano for great service and cooperation.

Avoid MAWDY This company refused to refund medical…

This company refused to refund medical expenses after a claim , they did everything to find my claim void, they weren’t very communicative either, if you want travel insurance don’t go near Mawdy.

0 star Avoid Multitrip Insurance (MAPFRE/CEGA) at all costs. If you’re looking for peace of mind while travelling—this is not the company for you. My partner was hospitalised abroad with a serious injury. We had fully disclosed his medical history in writing, paid an increased premium, and were assured he was covered. What followed was an avalanche of broken promises, ignored emails, evasive tactics, and weeks of radio silence from CEGA (the claims handler) and MAPFRE (the underwriter). They delayed issuing a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) to the hospital, leaving us to foot a €7,500+ bill out of pocket. We were forced to pay in full or risk my partner being denied treatment or detained without his passport. All the while, CEGA insisted they were “reviewing” the case—even weeks after receiving every document they requested (twice over). When we raised complaints through formal channels, we were met with vague, non-committal responses. We involved the Irish Embassy, filed complaints with the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman, the Data Protection Commission, and even the Central Bank of Ireland. Only then did we begin to receive begrudging communication—but still no clear decision, no reimbursement, no accountability. To say this has damaged our mental health, finances, and trust is an understatement. We are seasoned travellers who bought this policy in good faith. It failed at every critical moment. If you think insurance is about protection—this company will teach you otherwise. Take this as a warning: A cheaper premium is not worth the trauma when the chips are down. They may appear legitimate, but in a crisis, they vanish into bureaucracy, leaving you stranded

Non payment of legitimate claim.

Non payment of legitimate claim.

Family of 6 were left stranded at Bordeaux airport by an airline due to a mechanical failure.

When we eventually got home and went through all the paperwork submission, Mawdy refused the payout.

I am currently taking this to court, unfortunately!

What a painful experience. Never trust these guys.

Travel Insurance that would rather let you die than assist you.

Keep on asking me for documents that I have submitted numerous times. I am stuck in a foreign country, immobile with a broken leg and absolutely no assistance from this insurance company. I have been in touch with them for the past 5 days and still no assistance!!
The doctor has advised that I am not fit to fly and will not issue a certificate - but they keep insisting that the doctor should give me the certificate. I have submitted the treatment plan, surgery documents yet they keep asking for them.
Do you want me to die first so that you can assist me?

No payout travel insurance

This company's claims process is unacceptable; repeated submissions of all required documentation have not resolved the claim. Given this failure to pay, I strongly advise against purchasing travel insurance from them. I rate this company one star.

Don’t use Mapfre. Awful experience ..

Warranty is not worth the paper it’s…

Warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. This does not protect you if you bought a second hand car with issues you cannot see. And they charge you to inspect and cover no wear and tear or phone/nav/software issues - seems like a scam!

Adjuster that cannot assess the car

Our car sustained damage. We brought it to the shop rather than having the adjuster come out to our house. The adjuster did not go to the correct shop, which is a larger shop in this part of the state. When he was informed to go across the street where the car was currently on lifts and could be examined and assessed properly, he never showed up. He assessed the car in completely while in the parking lot. Now the adjustor won't return phone calls. Cannot get him to go back out to the shop. The insurance company and claims analysts are not helpful and won't reach out to the adjustor for us to help. So we are sitting here in limbo trying to figure out how to get our car fixed.

Un professionals

Took the car to the garage and sent all the paperwork to MapFre last week and called the customer service like 9times. After a week still nothing. A few of them says they don't see the request the others say it's in process. Either way it's a guarantee that guarantees to make u suffer for sure and I still don't know if they need a month or a year to answer an email.
