I was contacted by both James and Emiel from Madd Tools. A replacement paper towel rack was shipped to me and arrived this week. The replacement is in perfect condition, is finished exactly as you would expect. These gentlemen made sure my issue was resolved. Updated my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.

Craftsmanship and/or QC Need Improvement.
I recently purchased some hooks and a paper towel rack. This was my second purchase from Madd Tools. I was very satisfied with my first purchase; I am not satisfied with my second purchase; I am particularly unhappy with the paper towel rack/shelf product. The towel rack at first glance appears to be reasonably well built. However, the rack has a metal pipe that is drilled for a removable retaining pin -this allows installing a paper towel roll. Where the hole is drilled, sharps burrs were left and painted over. The burrs need to be removed and are easily filed down, but this will also mar the finish. Secondly, there is a slot cut in the metal side that is designed for the pipe to rest in. On the assembly I received, the slot is not cut properly; it is tapered incorrectly to the point that I had to pry the pipe out of the slot -only now it will not go back into the slot. I can file this for clearance, but this will also mar the finish further.

I looked at the exchange/refund policy on Madd Tools website, and they state they will not pay for return shipping even for a return or exchange needed due to poor craftsmanship. And, when sending back for a refund there is no money back guarantee. Lastly, it is their policy to deduct shipping from any refund issued, which means the customer has to pay for them to send out a defective product.

On the plus side, I received an email from the company asking if the order was all good. I replied to that email but have not yet received a response. I am hopeful that the company may reach out to me with a better plan to correct the problem and satisfy a new customer.

Used for a garage metal storage cabinet and these pegboard attachments and bins are great.

Found the product to be exactly as talked about. Sturdy, useful product. Arrived well packaged. Would definitely buy from them again. Fit the 1/4” pegboard perfectly. No slippage.

One of the screw driver holders was not welded properly and was broken apart. The plier holders aren’t big enough and we’re useless except for the smallest pliers. Most of the pieces were well constructed and the baskets are nice.

High quality product. These pegboard holders will not come off the board unless you intentionally pull them out.

The bundle pack was perfect. The hooks are very sturdy. I used them in my work room to hold drills, hammers and a rack for the screwdrivers. The baskets are well made and deep.

Hooking it up
I got so busy setting up my board that I forgot to do this. The hooks are everything that the company has said about them.
I have told my family about them. Soon they too will be purchasing them for themselves.
