Appointment on time very professional and friendly, bought new glasses staff very helpful in making sure they fitted perfectly and that I was happy with them . I would recommend Mackey Opticians to anyone who wants the best possible service . Isabella.

Had my first eye exam with Mackey opticians at their new premises in portadown. The clinic is lovely and bright and spacious, they have a fantastic range of frames! I was greeted by Rachel on my arrival and the other Rachel spent quite a while helping me decide on frames, both so friendly and knowledgeable. Aaron conducted my eye exam, everything was explained with care and patience. I had a very good experience all round and am now looking forward to getting my new glasses and I will see them again next year. Joanne Evans

Have always had a fantastic service here. We go to see Andrew and it was difficult as Andrew moved from his place to come into Mackeys, new store, new people. We need not have worried!!! The team at this branch in Church Lane are totally lovely. Always feel so welcome when I visit, after seeing Andrew and choosing new frames Jenny was amazing. Jenny gave me all the time I needed and I didn’t feel rushed in any way. When I decided on the frames with the expert guidance of Jenny, I left feeling confident in my choice. Within 2 weeks I was back again to pick up my two pairs of glasses. 👓
It’s always hard changing to new things, but the transfer as such was very simple, still see Andrew ( who by the by is fantastic…being going to Andrew & his Father before him for nearly 40 years!!!) and I have the pleasure of the expertise of Jenny. Everyone on reception are great, they are friendly & professional, Jenny is my ‘go to’ person, she is a gem. Thank you Andrew & Jenny

Had a great experience today in Portadown. Was helped by Elaine and Rachel, they were super friendly and so helpful. Both were very thorough and explained everything throughout.

Recently saw Elaine and Aaron for my appointments, Ciara and Sara helped me choose my glasses and Rachel done my collection appointment. Everyone was so friendly, professional and couldn't have been more helpful. The new practice is stunning! I would recommend this Opticians to anyone!

if i could give 10 stars i would give 10! Rachel helped me pick my glasses Sara was on reception and Elaine tested my eyes. Good craic and the whole experience was brilliant. highly recommend!

Aaron gave clear and concise information about eye health. He carried out the testing with patience and clear instructions. Both he and Amy described choice of glasses without any hard sell. Overall a pleasant experience.

Brilliant experience at Mackey in Portadown! Aaron who tested my eyes was friendly, explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and put me at ease. Rachel helped me choose my frames and new varifocal lenses. She is so knowledgeable and you can really tell she loves her job. Both Aaron and Rachel are a pleasure to deal with and a real credit to Mackey Opticians. I collected my glasses today and i love them!! Ill be back for my sunglasses soon. Thank you both so much!

Elaine in Portadown is a compassionate, knowledgeable, and throughly professional optometrist. She has been my optometrist for many years now, and I always make sure to book my tests with Elaine, whichever Mackey store she is working in.

Super friendly, welcoming & professional staff at Mackeys Opticians in Portadown. Their new location is convenient & the shop is bright & spacious.
Aaron did my eyetest & was very thorough, explaining the whole process in a friendly but professional manner.
I had great fun with Ciara choosing my frames - she was so patient & helpful & didn't try to oversell at all.

I took my daughter for her eye test. We were met by two friendly staff Sara and Rachel. My daughter had her eye test done by Niall. He has plenty of questions and did a thorough examination.

I Was really happy with how efficient and welcoming Sharon and Sorcha were! They were very helpful as it was my first eye test and first pair of prescription glasses! Would 100% recommend

I was in the new shop today getting my eyes tested and the new shop is looking brilliant.Aaron took me for my eye examination and will very professional in his job and very good explaining things to me,Rachel was so friendly and so helpful when I was struggling to choose my new glasses.

From Geraldine testing my eyes and the very friendly girls at reception it’s been amazing, helpful and with great guidance.
I’ve been in today with Geraldine and Nicola apart from amazing pleasant girls it was such a pleasure receiving my new glasses.

Through Rachel, it was easy to make an appointment & I was seen on time. During the examination Aaron explained everything clearly and fully answering all my questions.
