AVOID – £320 QUOTE TURNED INTO A BILL OF OVER £1,100

Absolutely appalling experience. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this emergency locksmith thinks very carefully and gets every single cost confirmed in writing before allowing them to touch the lock.

We were originally told the price would be £320. The locksmith then said they were unable to pick the lock and would have to drill it out. At no point were we clearly told that this would result in the price increasing to OVER £1,100!

The real shock came after the work had been done, when we were presented with this enormous bill.

How can it be acceptable to quote someone £320, carry out a different method when the first one doesn’t work, and then only reveal afterwards that the final cost has more than tripled?

Had we been told beforehand that drilling the lock would take the bill to over £1,100 we absolutely would not have agreed to proceed without considering other options.

In my opinion, this feels like a complete scam. Emergency locksmith customers are often locked out, stressed and in a vulnerable position. To not make such a massive increase in price completely clear before carrying out the work is, in my view, utterly disgusting.

There is a huge difference between £320 and £1,100+. That isn’t a small additional charge. Customers deserve to know exactly what they are agreeing to pay before the work is carried out, not discover the true cost when it’s too late to say no.

I had an emergency situation where my key snapped inside the lock and I was unable to gain entry to my property. I contacted the locksmith and they attended to deal with the problem.

The lock was unfortunately unable to be opened normally and, after an initial attempt to remove the broken key/lock barrel was unsuccessful, a destructive entry procedure was required to gain access.

Despite the difficult situation, the locksmith dealt with the problem and restored access to the property. They also repaired the lock cover plate after the work was carried out.

I was grateful for the emergency response and the work carried out when I was locked out and needed help urgently. Thank you for your assistance Ivan excellent customer service.

I needed a secondary lock fitted to my storage door following a couple of attempted break-ins. Adrian attended within the hour, despite it being 9pm, and was extremely professional from start to finish.

He installed the new lock swiftly and efficiently, with no issues at all. I’m very pleased with the service and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing a reliable locksmith.

Very quick, reliable locksmith

Total scam ! Do not use ! I was charged £1,950 for work that should have been around less than £400 as independently assessed by two other locksmiths. These people are not certified locksmiths, they trade under multiple different names. They drilled into my front door lock when unnecessary, leaving me no other choice but to pay for them to fix their own work as I live in London on my own. All their positive reviews are fake, do not use under any circumstances!!!
