Launa Windows Reviews 

This is a hugely long story about the total shambles that is launa windows so I’ll make it as short as possible.
We had a quote for a conservatory, salesman very good and offered 0% finance which was the only way we could afford it. We signed up being told work would start in 6 weeks, needless to say it did not! We had our quote, architect visited and said we may need a different base, we asked if this would incur a cost, he said no. We were told eventually our building work would start in September (we were told 6 weeks when we signed up in March). We had no contact and a week before work was starting we called to find out what time the builders would arrive. We were then told that they had sent a letter which we had not received and that their salesman had tried calling (he had my mobile number and I had no record of a call). Turns out he had never called and neither had they sent the letter. Anyway the forgotten letter had stated we had to pay an extra £3000 for the conservatory base which we could not afford. At this point we were fuming with regular calls to them and constantly being fobbed off plus they already had a large chunk of our savings which we put down as a deposit. At this point we had to pull out of the build as we couldn’t afford it and then spent months getting legal advice to get our deposit back. In the end Laura windows ended up with hundreds of our hard earnt pounds for doing literally nothing. We do not have unlimited funds or high paying jobs and we were so excited about having a conservatory to improve our new home. We were so disappointed and Launa’s attitude only made it worse. Do not use them or any of their affiliated companies (Britannia windows, picture windows and there’s probably more, they are all the same company). I would give them no stars if possible, please do not use them!! Instead pick a local firm and support an independent trader.

I would recommend Launa windows and doors to anyone. I found they
are reasonably priced and have given me good service.

From the initial phone call to the guys who installed the windows all the staff were professional, polite and friendly. The installation was done quickly and cleanly. Just brilliant.

The sales team are good. They are knowledgeable and professional. The product is also good. We had two broken units when the fitters arrived. It took a lot longer to complete the job than it should and the workmanship was poor with a lot of damage to the window surroundings. To be fair they put right most of the damage but we felt that it needn't have been caused if more care had been taken taking out the old windows. Their prices are competitive.

A very good experience with the company after being recommended to use them all went very well the new windows look great. The two fitters Pete and Elliot were very efficient worked very hard. Great job will recommend Launa again.

We had a new front door, a composite door fitted, and two other doors. The doors are very good, and the fitters were excellent. We were very pleased with our choice of company to do the job.

Don't touch this shower with a barge pole. Its amazing how many of the reviews with trustpilot live in the USA. Read All checked reviews, all from real customers, we are taking them to court for damages to our house. Cant wait to see them.

Excellent professionally done job and the workmen did their utmost to work around us with minimum disruption. We would not hesitate to recommend the company.

I had french doors fitted although i could not fault the product the fitters did not use dust sheets on my furniture and the mess was horrendous. I was charged £30 extra for brass handles and on speaking to other contractors after launa are the only form that charge this. Their customer service was not great in that staff were rude when I tried to book in for another quote recently. Shop around before you make any decisions

They did a great job. Couldn't be happier with the windows and doors they supplied and fitted. They had to come back for a follow up visit to sort out some snagging, but they were swift and courteous. Many thanks.
