I’m have bought lakes cubicles over the last 20 years as I’m a plumber and fitted and have always recommended them. How things have changed. Bought a 900 8mm quad in September 2024. Fitted in last November. The magnetic seals were damaged. Ok not a problem ring customer care. This is where the problems started. Three times I have been promised replacements. Been liars too as first no record of me. Then they were send somewhere else. They did have my address. Spoke to a lady called Rachel in customer care. Seems nice. But still no replacements. I just want my customer job finished and perfect. Due to the customer care or lack of it. I don’t think I can buy another one. What a shame Thank you for your reply. The postcode is the same as it’s my home address. So not written down correctly. Plus last Wednesday you wrote the correct postcode. So one week later still no seals. So hopefully by Friday. Which is 2 weeks after first phone call. Here my address so you should not get it wrong.

Enclosed showers I have been told if you put water direct on the glass they can leak lol,
A £1000 not including shower tray, don’t waste your money
Useless company, first shower that I’ve had that leaks end of story, I’ve got money to buy another, but if it helps one person from having the same problem as me it’s worth it

Received a very high quality product and, because I live locally to the warehouse, I was able to collect direct from there. Got almost to the end of the install and realised I had lost a screw. So I drove back to the warehouse and explained. They were super friendly and found a pack of the fixings I needed and gave them to me FOC.
Glad I spent a little extra as the quality and service is what you pay for. Thoroughly recommend.

From first phone call to replacement arriving everything was friendly, smooth and efficient. I phoned and spoke to Katy about a bath screen which had collapsed. She asked for images, which I sent. Almost immediately she authorised a replacement for delivery two days later. A very nice driver found us in the middle of nowhere after various diversions due to floods. Lakes really makes me realise why we should always try to deal with family companies who really care. Thanks to Katy, our lovely delivery man and the whole team. Peter and Rhona

This was the second time we had to change the shower enclosure but the Company agreed to do so with an upgraded version without any problems
The fitters were very polite and professional and finished the job to our great satisfaction

Excellent customer service, we required replacement seals to revamp our shower’s they answered their email promptly and I had the parts within a few days both showers look as good as new would not hesitate to buy their showers again

I phoned to request replacement wheels for the top of a sliding shower door.
Delivery was the day after my phone call - 5/5.
The contents of the parcel exceeded expectations, and I am glad they did. It looks and functions much better with new wheels at the top and bottom. Until I wanted to remove the door for cleaning, I hadn't noticed the wheels had been installed incorrectly by the original installer - nothing to do with Lakes.
For your patience and service during my call - 6/5! Unfortunately, Trustpilot doesn't accept sixes.

The sales staff have good product knowledge, and Del. Service is reliable. Our Area Sales Manager Luke Clifton, is very pro-active. The after sales / customer srvice is one of the best I have experienced. Also, our local trades people love fitting Lakes.

I bought Lakes Malmo rectangular shower. Quality poor, wall support "U" sections very flimsy & gappy when shower frame fitted in. When finishing off installation the cover strips in corners only just about clip on, very poor design & had to clip them on & secure with sillicone sealant to keep them in place. The covering caps on tops of extrusion do not fit, almost seems they are made for something else, they just place & rattle around, again had to secure with silicone otherwise they would fall off when cleaning. Astonished at the poor quality of these parts on a shower that was not cheap. They should be ashamed at supplying these parts that do not really fit.

Tremendous customer service from Lakes. Our shower cubicle door seals had turned brown with age. Contacted Lakes customer service and had a reply from Haley who said they would provide a new set free of charge which I picked up in Tewkesbury. On trying to remove the doors to fit the new seals I found the buttons at the bottom seized solid. Again contacted Lakes to ask how much they would cost to replace and had a reply from Haley to say they would provide a new set as a gesture of goodwill free of charge and would be posted today.
Refreshing to find a company who gives such excellent customer service. Cannot recommend them enough.

Rectangular tray, pivot door and side panel purchased to replace smaller shower. Packaging was excellent, products were well constructed and solidly built. Looks really good on completion, modern, sleek, really good products and value. Minor phone queries handled by Craig (a credit to the company) were instantly answered and dealt with knowledgeably together with tips on fitting. A promised replacement door seal (original too magnetic) was received in less than 48 hours. An outstanding experience in a world of complacency. Would thoroughly recommend.

Bought 6mm glass shower panel and pivot door. Excellent quality and looks great. It was one of the few side panels that had a silver/chrome strip at the top to match the door .

Purchasing the shower glass product was easy and straightforward and I received my delivery within days of placing the order.
The product itself is just outstanding, I having been using the product for 10 years and would not live without it. My shower glass looks as good as new and the product helps reduce the amount of time I need to spend cleaning and polishing it!
Purchased our shower enclosure in 2011 from Lakes. We have replaced our shower seals twice in that time, purely for cosmetic reasons, as they were looking a bit tired.
On both occasions the customer service was fantastic! Our emails were replied to immediately and the products were posted out in super quick time!
