First time I have been to a cashless festival, and this 1 I will never attend again. The cashless system they use is advertised as completely safe,what a load of crap..vendors at the site were charging people for goods that they never purchased, I have wrote to Lakefest.co.uk and cashless system outfit 3 times within the last 5 days and not only are they not responding they also are failing to acknowledge any of my emails. If you like being overcharged znd ripped off then this is the festival for you. I personally will never attend again,not just because they advertise the cashless system as safe,but because they are the most ignorant service I have ever used..recommendations for anyone thinking of attending, check your balance before and after each purchase. At least if you use a ticket tout you know you are being overcharged, but when a company advertises something as safe and secure, which it blatantly was not, then fails to acknowledge the problem. I think I would of preferred to have been held up by Dick Turpin.
