Two significant issues. 1. The developer didn't complete the work nor communicate with us but we were still over-charged for the work by JTH and couldn't get the monies refunded. 2. Much more... See more

Safe platform, Safe Payments
Safe platform, safe payments, JoinToHire is a good freelancing site; it's a site I can recommend to anyone who's got a skill and is willing to earn with it. Their policy is fair enough to help you land a great and lucrative contract. You're allowed a Hourlie, through which you can quickly be hired even when you're not online at that moment.
Very bad experience
Very bad experience. I suspect a scam site. They offer cheaper rates and lesser commission whilst lurking on Upwork or Freelancer as an enticement to use their platform. I did. Very big mistake. The freelancer gave all sorts of excuses as to why the job was not on time and not working. I have had no response to the dispute and have been charged $348 for bad incomplete work plus spent an additional $500 rectifying the errors the freelancer made. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
High risk use
They allow freelancers make charges even already disputes cases. They DON´T take their responsibility about unauthorized payments. They even don´t reply to your emails when something goes wrong.
Never use again and can not recommend. Too high risk to use.
You can pay at the end when the job is done
Safe platform, in general, although there can be situation were You can feel nervous. Sometimes there are bugs and errors , but that doesn't happen often. Live Support is responsive and they always help You when dealing with Your Freelancer. You can pay at the end when the job is done.
My story with this platform starts when…
My story with this platform starts when i was trying to build a website for my company. I found a developer in my city , but he was freelancing at home. So i invited him to do all the job via JTH. Via TimeTracker. There were couple of small issues with the screenshots , within the 2 months i worked with him , but overall experience was normal.
Spent $2500
Spent $2500 , Got a small CRM and Mobile apps
I hired 2 freelancers, one from Moscow, another one from Greece.
I was able to pay them separately, weekly, vased on the hours each tracked and worked.
When i reached to $1500 , jointohire awarded me with $500 bonus! Thanks for that. I will use that for my next hire next days.
Good experience
Good experience, not a bad platform
So my story is that i got a bonus credit from the JTH platform, that was $500. I went there and hired a developer . He did a great job and did a website for my company. I paid $1000 in total. $500 was the bonus in JTH. Do i saved the 50%. If we pardon some technical bugs in the system , i will grade them 3 out of 5.
Overall i am positive
Overall i am positive. Couple of notes.
1. They have 2 options to hire. One is a fix price and also an hourly based.
2. They give you an ability to create a dispute case anytime you want if your freelancer is not responsive.
3. They like to gibe credit bonus to long time users. Like i got 500 USD . That is a lot of money i can use to pay to my freelancer.
Safe payments are the priority of this…
Safe payments are the priority of this platform. But you should pay an attention to your freelancer's desktop screenshots , to see if he is working effectively. Require daily updates , that is mandatory so that you can follow the progress.
Safe payments
Safe payments
What i really like is that i can be safe dor each payment i do in this platform and i can easily get back any payment i did to mu freelancer if i see that i am not getring what i exactly required.
They have an option to Escrow and then…
They have an option to Escrow and then release amount once the job is completed. Also option to create tasks and mark those done or in progress. So i see the JTH as more an online working tool rather then a place to find a freelancer. It is better if you have already a working relationship with your freelancer and move to this platform.
Safe payments and Escrow option
# Follow freelancer desktop screenshots done every 10 mins
# Create a group when you hire more then one freelancer
# It seems they accept freelancers only after a heavy interview. So only senior guys are there
# Able to create a Dispute case if you are not happpy
My rate is 3.5 from 5 for this platform. But i couldn't set it like that here, so i chose 4 star.
Fast live chat support and Safe payments
Fast live chat support and email support. Easy dashboard to see all work the freelancer is doing. They take screenshots of the developer desktop every 10 mins. Fix price eith safe Escrow option is what i chose myself when hiring. They easily refund you if you open a dispute case when the dev. has not done a good job. So, in general not a bad platform. I will update more after working another month.
ATTENTION to all freelancers
ATTENTION to all freelancers
This platform will refund money you worked and earned when the client opend a dispute case there. They do not review that case, they do not care about the freelancer. They will take your money and give back to the client. So the client is left eith the work you did and also can get back all money. Completely dishonest! Care only clientd but not the freelancer?
Technical interview is very complex
Technical interview is very hard and heavy, and they require you to answer the most complex tech. questions within seconds. If you do not answer fast they just do not accept you as a freelancer. This way they loose many freelancers.
They care only about clients and no care for the developer
They Refunded all $1300 i earned and tracked to my client because my client decided that he is going to postpone his project. Are you serious? There is no care for the freelancer?
They will refund money to client…
They will refund money to client without even notifying you. Because they care only about clients, not the freelancers.
If the client decides to cancell his project because he just decided not to continue, it doesn't matter weather you did a lot of work. This platform will immediatelt take your money and refund to client , just to make the client happy, but leaving the freelancer with 0 $ .
Freelancers are not protected at all
Freelancers are not protected at all. The Jointohire platform cares only about his clients. Client can easily not pay you or just request his money back , and they refund all without even asking you or speaking.
No care for freelancers ar all
No care for freelancers at all, they care only about their clients, they give back the money to the client without revieweing the case as soon as client opens a Dispute case.
ADRIAN PORCHE is the worst Freelancer…
ADRIAN PORCHE is the worst Freelancer who does a worst quality coding, without comments, mixing all kind of Javascript and the result is ugly . Stay away from ADRIAN PORCHE freelancer in Jointohire. Hire only developers from Greece, UK or Russia. After ADRIAN PORCHE charged $1000 for doing NOTHING, I Disputed and jointohire gave back my money, and other Freelancer from UK did a great work for me with just $500.
