If I could give more stars I would. I have had the most excellent, professional and caring service from the whole team at John Flynn opticians. I have had difficulties getting glasses lenses to meet my personal and professional needs and Dr. Janjua, a through and through professional, has taken the time to perform an advanced eyesight check, explain all the aspects of my eyesight issues and offer a tailored solution. I work in the NHS and private sector and you would be hard pushed to find a better clinician than Dr. Janjua. I have complete confidence in his skills and would not hesitate to recommend the whole team. I extend my thanks to them all because as someone with hearing loss getting my other senses the best they can be is vital, I am very grateful. Gill Burrage

Dr Sheeraz was able to assess and confirm the diagnosis of a recently detected issue with my vision. Dr Sheeraz talked me through the findings and was able to put me at immediate ease.

A friendly welcome by the staff on arrival: seen on time by Sheeraz who was very pleasant and efficient. Using the very advanced euipment available on the premises, I was given a scan which showed my AMD. Following this I had a course of Valedq treatment which is improving my condition with excellent advice regarding follow-up. Altogether very satisfactory.

The staff at Flynn's are always very professional, as well as friendly. Glasses from Flynn's perform very well and they take the trouble to tailor lenses to your individual needs. I have had some issues with my eyes over the years and I appreciate Dr Janjua's thoroughness and taking the time to explain things, as well as the availability of new treatments. I would thoroughly recommend Flynn's.

A very professional and knowledgeable practice. All the staff are very welcoming and attentive. Dr Janjua always takes time to make sure you understand any problems and recommendations he makes. The recent course of LLLT treatment for Dry Eye Disease has already made a big improvement and I expect this to continue over the next few weeks now that my glands are functioning again.

John Flynn’s Opticians offers a fantastic service. The team there all very professional, helpful and a friendly. Dr Janjua gives a very thorough eye examination and explains his findings very comprehensively. He is well versed in new technologies and offers several treatments to help with a variety of problems. There is a good range of frames, which , I think, would suit every taste. I would recommend this optician unreservedly.

An exceptional experience. All the staff were knowledgable, friendly, and attentive. The optician himself was demonstratively expert and provided a clear and understandable explanation of the process and outcome of my eye test. He took time to really develop a personalised solution for my eye sight needs and the different use cases I have. You really feel that he is not constrained by an appointment time slot. No rushing to templated conclusions. No dismissive explanations. Very professional and highly recommended.

The best optician I’ve found for understanding the impact of my glaucoma on the overall lens prescription. His prescriptions are so much more accurate than my previous optician which balances out the higher cost of his lenses.
