Excellent Company. But this buffalo mozzarella that this company sells is not the best mozzarella I ever had. Taste, consistency is not good and this buffalo mozzarella is not moist but dry.
I have been eating buffalo mozzarella for more than 25 years and this buffalo mozzarella is not meeting the standard in my opinion for excellent cheese

Goods didn’t arrive/company no help
PayPal issued a full credit today, 25 November.
The History
Goods didn’t arrive. I have had numerous communications with Danielle, who told me the items were delayed because of floods in Italy, she wants me to tell her how she can claim the item on insurance, which is not my responsibility - the order was over €130. And I have not yet had the food. Nothing had arrived by Day 9 (chilled delivery was meant to be 3-4 days to Ireland) when I had to leave my home to go travelling.
I’ve asked for a refund which I did not get yet. Instead I received a request to review for Trustpilot and Google.
The items are salami and cheeses, for the most part, and they have been out of chilling for 4+ days so I couldn’t risk them even if they had been delivered.
The courier said they had delivered them when they had not. The courier took the item off the system, so you couldn’t track it, after it said it had been delivered, then they put the item back on the system and said they were delivering it the next day. That would be Day 9. Chilling packaging lasts for 4 days.
This is so disappointing, I regularly buy food from Italy over the years and this is the first problem.
I now have to ask PayPal for a refund.
I’m sure that once everything is delivered correctly, that this is a good company to deal with, but if you have any issue at all, you are basically on your own.

I'm sorry everything went so horribly, of course there's a lot to discuss here since a lot went down in less than a week.
I'm a little lost with the fact that you said there's nothing outside your door, since the tracking states that your package was shipped on the 23rd and retrieved (and signed) on the 30th of October.
Plus, I have to say I'm a little disappointed on your negative 1 star feedback. While it is your right to express your opinion, I feel you made some unnecessary points.
For starters, it is quite pointless to mention that instead of a refund you "received a request to review for Trustpilot and Google". That is an automated message that is sent when the tracking says the package is delivered, it's not like we sent it to belittle you.
I didn't ask you to tell me how I can claim the item on insurance, I asked you to wait to receive the goods and take pictures as further proof of your complaint to the courier.
Also, it is quite contradictory to say you had numerous communications with me, but if you have any issue you are basically on your own. I'm either here trying to support your cause and get to ensure you at least a full refund, or you're just getting no answer.
I'm not saying I was expecting 5 stars, but it would've been ideal to find a middle ground.
That being said, now that you opened a dispute via Paypal things are more complicated. Paypal hardly ever relies on mere statements and with a tracking that shows you signed and received the package your dispute is likely to be closed on our favor. This way we might not be able to grant you the full refund that I was trying so hard to make sure you had in case everything went wrong.
I can keep trying and see what we can do, but with a signed package you'll probably have to fill in a "repudiation of signature" form or something like that and I don't even know how long that would take to be registered. Refunds are complicated and the more we keep them simple (trying not to involve other institutions and so on) the better, which is what I was trying to do.

Excellent experience
Excellent service, excellent products (otherwise unavailable in Eastern Europe). Care for the customer and very good and helpful communication. A special mention for the delivery company - good choice for GLS (as I had very bad experiences with other carriers, in the past), they arrived on time, not a single day of delay (which is important for fresh products). I will certainly come back to Italybite!
