Very disappointed with Invoice2go’s…

Very disappointed with Invoice2go’s service. My account was randomly deactivated with no clear explanation, and getting any real help from support was extremely frustrating. I sent multiple follow-up emails and got little to no communication back. At one point, I was asked to submit documents, then later told my case was closed and that nothing more could be done through that ticket.

The entire process was confusing, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. No customer should have to chase a company for days just to get a basic explanation about their own account. Based on my experience, the level of support and communication has been terrible.

Randomly charged £5000

I renewed in January and in February was randomly charged £5,001.99. My annual subscription is £79.99 and wasn't due for 10 months. I rang them to chase the payment but they were unable to locate or find the payment. I have had to ring my bank and raise as fraud to get a refund. It's very concerning that a company could charge such a large quantity of money and have absolutely no record of it.

This would be Zero if it could be

This would be Zero if it could be - trying to resolve a problem with changing emails is impossible with the incompetent staff. I have sent my drivers licence and confirmed all details 3 times to them and still not changed my email so I can reset my password after being locked out because of the current email address being shut down.

I was signed up for instant payout

I was signed up for instant payout, and just accepted 2nd payment from customer. They decided to hold up my money, it’s been 4 days now and when I’ve talked to them first they said it was random reviewing. I guess it takes 4 days to check on 1 transaction that the customer had paid me before with. The 2nd communication they said it was technical and there engineering team was working on it. I’m really curious how many people do they hold money on. I’ve been there 12 years and this is how they treat you just so they can make a few dollars on interest.

Deleted My account with no explanation

Had the system setup for just under a month. Paid for the top tier service plan for the year. Worked perfect and was everything I needed and then some. Today I get an email that my account has been deleted and they cannot/will not inform me as to why.

Along with this I now cannot access any invoices that have already been sent, are being processed for payment, etc. Their response is to contact the internal team who conveniently doesn’t answer their email.

Do NOT USE this as an invoicing system…

Do NOT USE this as an invoicing system for your business. There is absolutely not customer care or support if anything goes wrong. They use robots / AI and it doesn’t solve any issues . They take your money and the app will stop working so you can’t use it. Have been without an income due to this for 2 weeks and still receiving an automated response from the company. You’re much better of using a Xero!!!!

No customer care

I like the way it works, good features, the only problem, and for me it is serious problem: they do not have customer care, e.g it is impossible to change the phone no for verification code.

Extremely Disappointed After 10 Years

Extremely Disappointed After 10 Years – Proceed With Caution

We’ve been with this company for 10 years, but our recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. It began with an email requesting documentation regarding a credit card transaction that appeared suspicious. Out of caution, I asked for a phone call rather than submitting documents through email. A representative named Sam (no last names are provided) called and assured me the issue was minor—a failed transaction attempt by a customer—and that no further documents were needed.

Shortly after that call, our account was abruptly shut down without any notice. Our merchant services were disabled, halting all incoming payments and leaving us unable to invoice clients or access any data. This directly impacted our cash flow and project timelines, causing over $100,000 in lost business and preventing employee payments.

Over the course of two weeks, I received only generic responses from an AI chatbot—no real support, no direct contact. When I finally received a call from someone named Brandy, she vaguely stated that documents were still needed but could not tell me which ones, nor could she confirm if or when our account would be reviewed. The call was unprofessional, conducted from what sounded like a home environment with a TV in the background, and she provided no extension or direct line for follow-up.

To make matters worse, there are currently 38 similar complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly urge any business considering this service to be cautious. What happened to us was more than an inconvenience—it was a complete breakdown in customer support, transparency, and operational reliability.

They hold your money hostage

They hold your money hostage. Policy states 1-2 business day deposit times. They keep saying another 1-2 days without any legitimate reason. Currently at 5 days with another response of 1-2 more business days.
