I need to have my ID certified for conveyancing and local searches for this service were quite far from me and also expensive.
I found the ID5 service on Google and after some research to make sure it was legitimate I booked an apppointment. I liked that I was able to get an appointment very quickly.
Uploading my documents for verification was very easy and I received all the signed and authenticated forms in the post a couple of days later.
I would definitely use this service again in the future.

Excellent Company. Was a little apprehensive about the process but George put me at ease. Interview only took approximately 15 mins. George was very patient when a document he required site of was tricky for me to access but we got there in the end. Documents arrived next day and were all in order. I’ve recommended my brother to this service as he needs the same ID check for Land Registry. Thank you

Excellent service. Very glad to have stumbled across this one-stop shop, having drawn a blank with local firms. A slick operation, all done online incl uploading various documents to an ID verification app followed by a Zoom call with a friendly adviser (George). The hard copy completed forms arrived promptly by post, ready for our signatures. Happy to recommend.

firstly used CREDAS app to load ID docs using my phone. really straight forward, very easy to use and all worked 1st time. the app was preloaded by ID5 which linked it to me and made it slick. so if you are used to using a smart phone the process is very user friendly and easy.
solicitor from ID5 was bang on time for my 09.30 appointment, linking to the video link simple and set up for me, couldn't have been easier. tip for you, id advise linking to the video link a few minutes early so you can test your microphones are turned on to teh right level. links for these sound checks within the system, really easy to use. Makes you set right for the meeting.
I found the solicitor very formal at the start, which gave the process some degree of validity, its an important check after all. During the process we talked and i found the certifier really friendly and helpful.
Another tip, he asked me what i was being certified for, this caught me out as i knew but couldn't remember in that moment. so have that answer ready, i've seen the subsequent form he produces and he has to enter the reason for certifying on the form, so you will be asked this.
the whole process took me no more than 20 minutes, im talking the initial CREDAS bit and the interview. slick pain free process, and at a bargain price. i was quoted £264 from my conveyancing solicitor. this cost £59. I
would recommend the ID5 service to anyone.

Really pleased :) I wasn't sure what to expect when I found ID5 after a quick web search. The website looked very professional, but over the years I've learned to be quite skeptical of online reviews etc (sorry Trustpilot !) Anyway, I needn't have worried. The whole experience was brilliant. I had a 15 min call with Gareth, who I found friendly and very helpful. We spent a couple of minutes discussing my requirements, and then he took all the necessary screenshots. Effortless ! Interestingly, you don't have to pay the fee until after the call has finished, so you're not handing over your cash and then crossing your fingers. Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ID5. Top marks :)

Quick and easy professional service for a process that looks quite daunting and expensive when first investigated. Very good value

Call went fine & it was a bank holiday but after paying for express delivery I wouldn’t expect four days & having to make a phone call to get it . Especially as I sent 24hr tracked stuff to my solicitor on a Wednesday and she got it Thursday morning.

Is this a scam ?? cant get in touch and haven't received the document. What are they doing with the information , anyone please? I am really worried

Booked an appointment via the website, had the appointment which went well, quick and easy. I had to get a copy of the mortage statement and said this on the call. When I submitted it, I was told they thought I wasn't requiring their service but they would look into it. A week later asking for an update told they were busy but would get look at it. It's been 2 months and I spent £59 for nothing. If there was anything wrong with my submission they have not said. This company has just ghosted me without any information. I feel like I was scammed.

Same day appointment, zoom video call which appeared fine… ever since then I have heard nothing, no response to 3+ emails and seem to be avoiding contact? Strange company.

This is the only way to get id1 form sorted for a reasonable price. Dont waste your time even enquiring with solicitors, complete joke. just book this service and be done. Absolute pleasure to deal with Mr George Boyd-Gibbins. App was easy to download and verify documents and after consultation paperwork is swiftly processed. Aslong as you got your documents he is cool.
Can't big up George Boyd-Gibbins enough for sorting me out and getting my affairs processed. Available practically anytime and you can even get same day.
Will be back at later date for his service.
If you want it sent same day it's £9.99 express or just opt for the £59 service standard of you not in any rush.

Excellent it was so easy and the hard copy came in the post next day exactly as George said you would normally pay £200 for this service but at £59 why go elsewhere. I will use again.
