Visited today for a long overdue eye test at I2i.
I’ve been in the Howard Street shop many times over the last few years as both my wife and son come here for their glasses so the shop and staff are familiar.
Booked the test the previous day by telephone but their online booking system looks very easy to use.
Stephen was the optician who tested my eyes, friendly and professional and he then ran through my options very clearly with no upselling.

Sarah then helped with my selection of specs which actually proved easier than I expected as they had a superb range to choose from. Sarah also took time to pick out other options that were not on display too, very helpful and again no pressure upselling which I appreciate.
Selection made, my lenses were fairly straight forward and they had my specs ready to collect within a couple of hours same day.

Very happy with my experience and I highly recommend I2i, nice people nice specs 🤓.

Stephen is very thorough and highly experienced; giving me peace of mind particularly as I get older. Through the advancement in scanning and Stephen's skill; he can help identify health issues as well as put your mind to rest too - to stop unnecessary worry.

After my eye test there wasn't the usual big sell but a patient and informative consultation on what i wanted, what i thought looked good and keeping within my budget. The staff are so welcoming and professional in everything they do. It’s a joy to visit the opticians. The range of glasses on offer is amazing and the staff are great at recommending a style to suit you. I was shown these fantastic glasses with the sunglasses accessory, the sunglass frames just clip on to the glasses frame, they are brilliant. Really pleased with them and can’t wait to wear them.

It's been over two-and-half years since I first visited (and reviewed) i2i in Howard Street, Glasgow. The service was simply awesome then, but has gone to a whole new level as they've got to know me as a client.

A massive thank you to Mikey and his colleagues as they upgraded my glasses in August 25 (last month), and this week as they took the time to find me the perfect pair of prescription sunglasses.

Mikey is an actual star as is the rest of the team at I2I. They have such an impressive selection of Brands here and their varifocals are just amazing.
The staff can't do enough for you and make you feel really welcome, and they also advise you on what suits you and what doesn't there is no hard sell here, just genuine honest people.
Not forgetting Stephen who is the optometrist and he also makes you feel comfortable.
If you want something extraordinary then I2I is the place to go.
