I recently had Hyperoptic installed and I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
The installation was carried out by David (engineer 13093), and he was absolutely excellent from start to finish. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and clearly explained everything he was doing throughout the process. The installation itself was smooth, efficient, and completed to a really high standard.
David took great care to ensure everything was set up perfectly, tested thoroughly, and that I was happy before he left. It’s rare to come across such a knowledgeable and customer-focused engineer—he’s a real credit to Hyperoptic.
The service is now running brilliantly, and the whole experience has been stress-free thanks to his expertise.
Highly recommend Hyperoptic, and especially David if you’re lucky enough to have him as your engineer!

Just got it installed, smooth process, including them ending my previous service and paying cancellation costs. My installer, Martin Forde, was excellent, went above and beyond to ensure the cable was hidden externally to satisfy my, no doubt, annoying demands as to where I wanted the hub in my flat!

I've been with Hyperoptic for the last 5 years. One of the reasons I'm happy with them is that everything runs smoothly — the service works well and customer service is efficient and fast. These days, saving time is key.
Most recently, I dealt with customer service representative Mihaela Cesnak, who resolved my issue very quickly. That is much appreciated.

EDIT: Despite the fact they could comment on this review within an hour of its posting, I still have not received any contact or any form to complete 24 hours later.
We pay for 500Mbps and rarely see speeds above 100Mbps — consistently around 20% of the minimum download speed stated in our contract. The connection is also unstable, and small or older devices can't connect at all.
The outlet was installed in a side bedroom (before I moved in), nowhere near the lounge, which compounds the coverage issues. I emailed to complain 15 days ago, suggested moving the outlet, upgrading to whole-home wifi, or any other solution. I was met with no meaningful response and no request for speed tests. I sent speed tests taken beside the router anyway — the speeds were no better. Zero progress after 15 days.
I had an infinitely better experience with Community Fibre at my previous flat, and Now Broadband before that. If you have the choice, go with either of them. I intend to exit this contract and switch at the earliest opportunity.
