My ISA transfer was completed in a timely manner but communication during the process was poor. It took HTB 3 days to respond to an email asking if the transfer was being done.

Very straightforward process opening an account, at a good interest rate

It was easy to set up and straight forward apart from wanting to add my wife into the account. this was not allowed due to her not having a mobile phone or being on the internet. not being allowed to use my mobile or email as contact.which is allowed by other banks.
which allows the account to transfer to the other if something happens to one of us.

Bare Trust Issue.
Bare Trust setup for my son a few years ago when his grandfather passed. Now my son has turned eighteen, We have been in contact with HTB who do not seem to know how to exceute access to the account/funds for my son. This has been ongoing for weeks. Raised a complaint due to lack of correspondance! How can a Trust Bank not know how to deal with a bare trust once the beneficiary reaches 18? They have now closed the complaint and have not been in touch other than to explain that they have closed the complaint.

It is the easiest bank account to set up and use. It pays good interest and you don't have to wait long to speak to someone if you need to phone. First Class service all the way.

Opening a new Business Account was quite straight forward and when I spoke to an Advisor, she was pleasant, efficient and helpful

The ISA transfer seemed a bit hard work doing the set up, and didn't take place on the specified date, which was worrying, so had to call to check. But a good interest rate.

Rates when appliedvwere good but disappointed that increased in between application and funds transfer made were not given even though accounts started from receipt of funds.

Opening an account was very easy - I'm pleased with the competitive interest rate - as I have never had dealings with Hampshire Trust before, I cannot comment further, but so far so good!

I wanted to transfer an I.S.A. from Close Brothers to HTB. I filled in the application correctly online and then the only correspondence from HTB was numerous emails asking me to fund my ISA. I was only transferring an ISA not applying for a new one. I phoned HTB and asked what was happening and was told it was going through. I still kept getting emails telling me I had to fund my ISA. Eventually I got a message 4 days after the date of maturity telling me that the ISA had been funded.
Why couldn't I be informed by email that the transfer was going through instead of emails telling me to fund the ISA. Most confusing and lack of information.

Opening my savings account with HTB was incredibly smooth and with only 2 confirmation emails it was up and running. All details (including the excellent interest rate) were correct & navigating the app was a breeze. No issues, no problem! 💯👍🏽

HTB standard communications do not allow for ISA transfers, they are geared for new money being paid into the account for the current tax year.
After a call to HTB I was advised that ISA transfers have 60 days rather than the standard 14 day window (cancellation period). Following the call everything then went smoothly and I just ignored the constant emails and texts I received as they didn’t apply.
HTB needs to ensure that their communication suite and their systems cater for ISA transfers.
In addition the customer journey when applying for an ISA product should also capture that an ISA transfer could have a notice period or future maturity date and this can then assist with the communications sent.
