The call handler was very polite friendly and helpful. The lady made it so easy to register my two appliances and explained the T/C of the guarantee .

Felt bamboozled into signing up for additional cover. Not just for this appliance but my cooker as well. I know trying to be helpful, but would have preferred a letter with all the facts so could decide in my own time.

Registering my new hotpoimt washing machine
Rang through to register the product, first was waiting about 20 mins on hold and then when I finally got through the guy took about 30 seconds to register my product and then 15 mins basically trying to pressure sell me insurance. Telling me everything the warranty doesn’t include. Almost made it sound inevitable that the product I had bought would break down in the first 12 months!
Considering it’s a new machine - I shouldn’t be having to insure it before I’ve even turned it on! This survey is the first bit of contact I’ve had confirming the warranty is active!
Have had issue with Hotpoint previously where I had proof of purchase but as it hadn’t been registered in the first 28 days I wasn’t covered. So I would always advise anyone buying their product to do it asap 👍🏻

When I registered for the 10 years parts warranty the email response seemed to indicate it was just a 1 year guarantee. The response I got from customer services to clarify the matter was however excellent. So all good in the end .

Hotpoint adviser promised that our integrated freezer would be installed and the door would be reversed FOC. We just purchased a new Hotpoint freezer. from Appliances Direct who didn’t install in our area. Hotpoint engineering called to do the job but said he couldn’t carry the task.
Called Hotpoint again and insisted this job could be carried out FOC but the wrong Engineer was sent out.
I am totally confused and getting told so many different promises. We took out an extended warranty at £3.75 per month. You telephone call centre are not giving out the correct information. Will never deal with Hotpoint again.
