Homeward is absolutely amazing. We wouldn’t have been able to become first time home owners with the housing market the way that it is right now. They made our offer the most appealing that they seller had. Their team is absolutely amazing and supportive. They answer all of the questions that we had and they treated us closer to family than just customers.

Homeward as a program is fine. There's definitely a lot of uncertainties and that's a risk you take with a buy before you sell program.

The problem is, there's too many people to deal with, and none of them are particularly helpful. I was contacted out of the blue and told by them that I can't qualify for a mortgage (despite being approved by other lenders) and it turned out they weren't using accurate income figures or debt calculations. When I asked why, the person told me they didn't know, they were just working the weekend and helping out. Thanks.

The loan assistant, Kym, got in touch, changed some figures, but still couldn't give me any detailed info. She promised she would get back to me with a detailed breakdown. Two days later, I got approved for a mortgage with them, but never heard back.

Most recently, they decided to lower my home value and when I asked why, I was presented with non-answers, fabricated statements, and a general lack of understanding of their own product. It wasn't until the relationship had already been damaged that I received the answers I was looking for (and the valuation I expected), but this was from someone who I was told couldn't actually contact me. Another misleading statement.

If you get the right advisor/loan officer (I'd stay away from Lauren, Seth and Kym), maybe you'll have a good experience, but mine was challenging. I gave them every opportunity to earn and keep my business, despite their rates and loan terms being extremely non-competitive, and they didn't take it until it was too late.

I had a great experience with Homeward and Homeward Title, when buying a new house as a cash buyer and being able to move before the old house was sold. I feel their services were reasonably priced for what they provided; they communicated well throughout the process.

I did not however choose Homeward finance and lost a .5% fee reduction since they did not seem to communicate much at first and then were trying to lock my rate and the numbers weren't close, still had a 13K funding fee & other amounts that didn't seem right on the prelim CD while trying to lock my rate.

This would be a 5-star rating If the Finance company would have done a better job, but I went with a different finance company.

Homeward is amazing! I will use no one else in my home buying processes.

This company shows a shameful lack of respect or regard for the people it has to deliver homeward to .
Yet again after another sarcastic phone conversation with one of your operators as you were over a week late with a due delivery ,you then insist on delivering at 6.45am ! My husband is stood outside to try and ask your driver to please not slam his doors as our 8 year old Daughter suffers from CVS among other acute conditions and you can bet he wont listen .he always comes outside sociable hours
example 6.30am or 10.30pm !
We get this service as for a long time we were actually out of their "area for delivery " and during pandemic (which we are still sheilding from covid, it's still out there !) They would send her feed and tubes ,syringes etc with anyone passing by their door I think ,we have video footage of her feed coming with a very dirty man on his very dirty old ,van full of gardening gear and chemicals! When my husband complained and refused delivery ,THIS company was rude and consequently phoned our local level 2 hospital dietician and said we refused delivery and so must be starving our Daughter ! It doesnt take brain of Britain to work out we had some in reserve or we wouldnt have done this ! I am glad we did have some in reserve .

YOU DONT KNOW WHAT NIGHT WE HAVE HAD ,HOW OUR DAUGHTERS BEEN BUT YOU HAVE NO SHAME IN THE WAY YOU SPEAK TO THE FAMILYS ON YOUR BOOKS.MY HUSBAND HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO BE ASSERTIVE AS OTHERWISE THEY HANG UP (WHICH THEY AGAIN DID TWO DAYS AGO AFTER THE LADY WAS VERY SARCASTIC ,SHE ACCUSSED MY HUSBAND OF CANCELLING THE ORDER ALSO ,WHICH WE HADNT ! ITS DISGUSTING ,ITS PART OF YOUR REMIT TO GET YOUR PART OF OUR DAUGHTERS CARE CORRECT .
YES WE ASKED YOU TO TRIPLE WRAP THE BOXES BECAUSE YOU SEND THEM WITH ANYONE IN ANY STATE VAN ,NOW YOU SUPPOSIDLY USE YOUR OWN DRIVERS AND THEY ARE RUDE TOO AND UNTHOUGHTFUL OF TIMES AND APPROPRIATE CURTOSY DUE TO THOSE TIMES !
Honestly Really this is your attitude is it ? Maybe do a different service,DIFFRENT TRADE or get some caring people working at your company, you like sarcasm theres a load of sarcasm from a Notts lass and Mother to two Girls with chronic illness ! ENJOY.
UPDATE ,so just spoke to your Driver (This Gentleman was listening and curtious ) ,Apparently he has already done 5 drops and got another couple to do in our area of Colchester ,At this time in a morning ! Plus apparently We (according to nutricia ) are the only people they deliver to here hence the difficulties with times of deliverys etc.

I had a fantastic experience using Homeward to buy my dream home. The market was still competitive when we first made the offer; and I believe that being a cash offer (in addition to not having to sell our townhome first) was the reason that we were selected for the purchase. Great service that allows buyers to become competitive by going in as a cash buyer. I worked with many different people both due to staffing changes and just the business structure. It was hard to know who to reach out to for inquiries and updates until I finally had a customer experience manager that stuck around. Overall extremely grateful for this service but also wish they were better at communicating.

What Homeward is able to offer is truly unique. At this time, to stay competitive in the market, having a cash offer is what truly can make or break you. I can confidently say that I don’t think I would have been able to purchase my home without it in the Austin market.

There are a few things with the process, however, that can prove rather challenging. The biggest thing being rent. Make sure you are fully aware of what their rent program entails and how to keep your team accountable throughout the contract execution process so you will not be taken advantage of. Additionally, their communication and service can lack from time to time. Their team could benefit from an “advisor” mindset and not a “service” mindset.

Fees not fully disclosed until less than 1 hour before closing. Because you have already moved in when you close- because of the program, you have no choice but signing. The actual fees were 80% higher than initial disclosure. Initial fees not disclosed upfront- so although very nice people- opaque process.

We were pleased with our experience and would recommend. We had a rather complicated process wherein the property we wanted was an estate sale, and the documentation needed to close was extensive. We tried using a different title company as well but ended up coming back to do everything in house with Homeward. We had done our homework to get ready to buy a home on the front end, so closing was a breeze once the estate matter was settled. We had an edge over other buyers to make a cash offer and when we realized our budget needed a stretch for the home we wanted, homeward helped make it happen almost overnight.
