Highland Broadband - USELESS!

Highland Broadband - Useless! Slow, intermittent service, doesn't support my wifi-controlled heating or printer (yes, the equipment has been checked!), and poor customer care: no email address and a phone number that isn't properly staffed, and, when you can get through, technicians who make excuses for the company rather than fix the issues. My old Plusnet service was better!
AVOID!

EDIT: After speaking with Matt yesterday, and following his advice, the internet connection is NO better. It continues to cut out (6 times during one online 'chat' with my bank last evening!), and my printer still cannot be 'found' despite now having a new frequency channel. My review stands!

My broadband fibre was installed today, good work!!

My broadband fibre was installed today. Darren and Ritchie were excellent at installing and wasted no time getting the job done. Ritchie explained everything in very easy to understand language and assisted in setting up a couple of devices to ensure I knew what to do. Once again great job, well done.

What can I say but a great efficient…

What can I say but a great efficient install. Richie and Darren installed from outside to inside with no mess and in good time. Once up and running everything worked perfect and Richie explained everything clearly and easy to understand so all our devices are now connected fuss free. Perfect guys.. Thank you.

Really poor and inconsistent communication

Really poor and inconsistent communication from staff over the weekend in response to a complete loss. Staff appeared to not know or be able to give details on procedures. Consistently told that someone would call back in x hours but they never did.
Contacted HB on Monday and to be fair they did send an engineer straight out who fixed the problem, however was told that complaints department would call back within 48 hours, it's now Thursday and guess what, nobody has called me back!

Update- shortly after submitting this review, I had a phone call and what felt like a genuine apology from Matt. He also stated that learning opportunities have been identified and he has put a small credit on my account. Upgraded to 3 stars.

John and Chris came to fit my broadband today.First class in every way.Explained the whole process and you would never know they were here as the garden is exactly as it was before they arrived.The lads are a credit to Highland Broadband.

It couldn't have gone better

It couldn't have gone better. A great team of guys, Lewis, Nicky, and Kenroy worked on the installation and in the rain to make sure we had the system running.
No fuss, very neat job and they did the vacuuming. Checked the main areas for WiFi connection, updated our devices and the best bit, they were happy and talkative, explained what would happen before it happened.

my wifi was working normally with ee…

my wifi was working normally with ee wifi and then they bloody put new cables and made everyone wifi worse so they want to make more money absolutely horrible and when i did get highland broadband they made my wifi worse as i couldnt connect and i paid for 500 mbps but im only getting 49 mbps absolutely bullshit
