Initially, I was sceptical and unsure. I ordered a kit, and it came in the mail. I selected at home blood sample (I regret it. If you can go to the facility, do so. Took me like 45 minutes to fill the blood dots, and my fingers were sore from so many pokes because I have rough working hands.) The box I got in the mail had everything I needed to do the test. Unfortunatly I ran out of lancets, so I had to use some I already had. The instructions were very clear and told you what to do. Took the package back to the post office (they include all materials to return the package for free). 7 Days later, the kit was marked received. 5 Days later, I got my results back on the website. The next morning, I had a video call on my phone with a doctor, who talked about stuff. He signed the script. That night, they messaged me saying they needed more insurance info. Once I sent that, a few days later, the meds were at my door in a bubble envelope addressed to me from FULLFILLMENT CENTER and from NY. I just got my second dose in the mail today, 3 days shy of a month.

Great way to get and always have medication on hand whenever you need it. They are great about confirming your correct address before sending. Package is always discreetly shipped and arrives on time.

They take care of everything. I don't have to go anywhere. I highly recommend Mistr.

I tried setting up an appointment. Everything was fine until the online doctor appointment. The link didn't work like it should. After jumping through hoops and still no luck. The doctor texted through app she would call. No call no nothing. I call Mistr. They act like it never happened before. I ask to have all my info erased from site because I don't want my info stolen. The lady agrees and states she will have her supervisor reach out to clear this up. Oddly ever since that very moment I have had multiple appointment update emails sent to me I did not set up. My info is still on there system. And my CC card info was hacked. I'm very confident this site used the info they had for me and hacked most of my accounts.

Mistr is great I lost my insurance due to leaving my job. They helped me get my prep free and doxy they are great. They truly want to keep everyone safe and care about everyone’s health even if you don’t have insurance.

Mistr has been a, god-send! I like how they, remind me of future refills, they've been extremely simple to work with, they're very responsive...I just love'em!

Timely delivery on refills, even when I was not using their service for a while, returning back to regular refills was pretty quick and easy!

Easy pathway to obtain PrEP and PEP and conform to the requirements to initiate and maintain treatment.

First off I wanna say the actual doctor is great. He was kind and professional. Customer support in the other hand is the absolute worst. Pharmacy support as well. You need to fill your scripts with them if you don't qualify or don't qualify either with your own instance or some kind of prescription assistance program. They don't say this when you sign up. My insurance doesn't support their pharmacy so I have them my pharmacy. Not once. Not twice. But 6 separate times. To date, my pharmacy still doesn't have the scripts. I kept reaching out to pharmacy and customer support who both keep pointing me back to my pharmacy for questions. They've asked me to verify my pharmacy at least 4 times. It's been the same all along. It's a good thing I went to another place for my meds.

Working with MISTR is so easy and convenient. You answer some questions and they ship your tests and prescriptions through mail. I think its really admirable to provide a service that improves sexual health of gay men.

I signed up with MISTR because their website clearly promises “no doctor’s office, no needles, and no paperwork” — and that they “handle everything,” including free lab tests, doctor consults, and medication delivery, with everything doable at home.

Instead, my experience was frustrating and disappointing:

• Misleading marketing vs reality
Their advertising made it sound like ALL services — labs, testing, doctor consult, prescription refills, and delivery — would be easy, needle-free at home with no clinic visit. I chose them specifically because of that promise.

• I received a test kit I never asked for
The first step was a mailed test kit. I cannot use blood tests — I have a phobia of needles and was explicitly trying to avoid that. So this completely defeated the point of choosing a service that advertises “no needles.”

• Poor communication and lack of help
I reached out when I made it clear I couldn’t/ wouldn’t use the kit. A doctor responded saying they couldn’t do anything beyond what their limited scope allows, which I understand — but then I never received any useful follow-up. The only meaningful follow-up message from the service was a reminder to send the kit back ASAP. Messages claiming someone would be in touch went nowhere.

• Insurance still paid for care that wasn’t delivered
Even though I didn’t pay out of pocket, my insurance was billed for a visit that never actually provided services I could use. It feels negligent not to listen to a patient’s clearly stated needs — especially when the whole service is supposed to be convenient and tailored. 

Overall, MISTR’s web promises looked great, but the execution did not match. Telemedicine shouldn’t be convenient on paper only. They took time and insurance resources but didn’t give the care or support I needed.

Would not recommend based on my experience.

Stopped communicating with me after several week of back and forth messages. Sent them blood and urine samples. Then after saying i was approved, I was ghosted.

I love the convenience of Mistr and the shipping doesn’t take long at all! Much faster than Amazon Prime! I do wish the annual check in with the doctor was a little more personable but I guess when everything is going well there isn’t much to talk about! Overall, very very pleased with the service and the product! Thank you!!

This company is a mess and I have to guess half the reviews are fake since virtually everyone I've spoken with has had the same experience as I.

They have no systems in place when something is needed out of the norm, their testing labs are beyond enept, getting test results are ridiculously long if you're lucky enough to get them, and their customer service does not have a clue how to address problems and their only response is an apology for the inconvenience. When you do get responses, the info provided is totally inaccurate as it relates to the drugs they dispense.

Virtually, every quarter when it comes to testing, there is an issue. I'm now going to run out of my PREP supply becuase one month after confirming receipt of my test kit, they still haven't been able to provide my results and therefore, refill my PREP. They are totally inept and unreliable.

I had no issues what so ever.

I wasn’t able to produce enough blood for the test and support continuously brushed off my question asking what I should do with my other samples to the point that I am now choosing a different service

Mistr is absolutely the easiest way to maintain your sexual health as a gay man without having to talk to your own physician (my doctor’s office is a pain in the @ss) and just handle everything through the internet. It’s easy to work into a busy life while being treated with respect and being responsible about your health and wellbeing. Been using them for almost a year and have no complaints.

I have always gotten my meds from Mistr.com, recently I took another job that doesn't have insurance and I'm not eligible for the ACA. It's approximately 12 days of back and forth texts, and several phone calls. Then I was asked would you like to terminate your account. They refused to help me get my Decovy through there so called programs. This organization is not what it used to be, it has failed.

So disappointed in this service. There was a period of time when things were getting better, but lately they have completely fallen apart again. At this point I am going to have to switch providers.
There have been times when the nurse/provider just doesn't show up for an appointment at all. Which is a total waste of time. Then the months where they forget to actually send out the medication and you can't reach anyone. They are putting people at risk by not providing good service. I appreciate it being free, but there has to be better companies out there. I am going to try Q Care or Freddie. If anyone has any suggestions let me know, b/c I am done with Mistr.

Absolute Clown Show, I wouldn't let these fools operate a coloring book. Their customer service is the worst. They don't have the competence to understand what is being communicated. From Sept to Jan received only (1) bottle of Prep and (1) Dox. Find your supplies somewhere else. I can only imagine the how furious I would be If I was paying for this service. Find another source.
