I was informed of House of Hearing in Ashton by a close friend who was very pleased with the help he had received.
Booking an appointment was easy & I am so glad I did. The staff were all lovely & very welcoming.
Following a de-waxing which was totally painless Gemma gave my ears a thorough test. She explained in simple terms what my hearing problem was & illustrated the difference that hearing aids would make.
One week later I was fitted with the aids & given a full explanation on how to use & care for them. I then had a weeks free trial to see if I was happy & had not paid anything at this stage.
After the trial I could either purchase them or return them.
Without hesitation I purchased them which immediately started a 60 day money back period.
The whole procedure was carried out in an extremely friendly & professional way & I have noticed a big difference in my hearing.
Thankyou so much Gemma, Tracy & the team at Ashton.
I would strongly recommend anyone to contact them if only for an initial test.
So glad that I did.

This was my first visit to ‘House of Hearing’ and the level of service was outstanding. Right from making an initial telephone enquiry, to confirming an appointment all went well. On the day of the appointment I was welcomed by both the reception member of staff and the practitioner who was to carry out the procedure.
Every aspect of the process was carried out with care, precision and a detailed explanation of what was happening.
Thank you to all! I more than happy to recommend your business to anyone who may be for any of the procedures you offer.

Lynsey was excellent, really helpful with removal of ear wax and explaining steps I could take to prevent recurring wax buildup.

Decided it was time to get my hearing checked, as I wanted to be proactive about addressing any issues early to help reduce the risk of age-related dementia. After doing some research, House of Hearing in Edinburgh came out on top.
I was tested by Stuart, who was exemplary in every way. He explained all the technical and practical details perfectly, giving a very honest and humble assessment without any sales pressure. It turns out I have some minor high-frequency hearing loss due to age, but Stuart reassured me that I don’t need hearing aids just yet. Instead, he offered to book me in for a follow-up test in a year.
The entire process was straightforward and thorough, and Stuart made sure I understood everything clearly. I’ll definitely be back next year and would highly recommend House of Hearing.

My first visit to The House of Hearing in Melville Crescent, Edinburgh. Excellent Staff and Stuart gave me such an informative explanation as to the 'workings' of the ear. Really highly recommend.

Really great service, I booked to have some stubborn ear wax removed, I managed to get a next day appointment.
Kim at Knutsford was superb, explained the procedure, allayed any concerns, performed a speedy microsuction procedure and did a full hearing test. Hearing never been so clear in years - best £60 I’ve spent in ages. Thank you 🙏

I purchased my hearing aids from House of Hearing Hamilton. The staff always go above and beyond in making you feel valued as a customer and respected. Pauline the receptionist is very supportive and a lovely friendly face whenever you hace any queries. Gavin the audiologist is extremely helpful solving any queries, completing annual hearing reviews. They also offer ear wax removal.

The service at House of Hearing in Edinburgh was excellent - prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I was examined by Stuart Lyness who carefully and professionally explained and demonstrated everything I needed to know and more - and no hard sell, which would have made me reluctant to return. I will definitely continue to use this great service. Highly recommended.

I needed my ears cleaned. At first, this was complicated by an ear infection. However, I received two free follow-up sessions to finish the job, and now I'm fine. I felt well cared for throughout. The cleaning was done very professionally. Communication about the appointments is efficient. I highly recommend this centre.

I recommend the House of Hearing for a friendly and highly professional audiology service. (Edinburgh branch, Stuart.) This was my first ever hearing test, having been referred by a friend who is a satisfied client of many years standing.
The hearing test was conducted in a comfortable setting and I was put totally at ease throughout. Questions were welcomed and answered thoroughly. I felt my hearing issues had been fully addressed.
I did not require a prescription and as promised there were no charges for the test. I will return in future for check ups.

Professional and efficient throughout. Charlie was understanding and helpful, no question too small. I have had a seamless journey getting used to aids thanks to his wise advice, what to expect and how I would adapt to clearer hearing. The review wasnt rushed, allowing valuable time to understand everything and listened too. So so glad I chose this company. Keep doing what you are doing!

Just home after a very thorough hearing test by Stuart who was friendly, experienced and took time to explain everything. This is my second visit as I had Ear Wax removal a week ago and a hearing test was suggested, both free. I have a middle ear problem which Stuart kindly gave me advice about and the whole experience was very professional.

I would highly recommend the Hearing Care Centre as the support that my Mother received was incredible.
Michael was exceptionally kind, helpful and understanding with my mother whilst completing the intial hearing test, explaining the choice of hearing aids and giving excellent advice and support over the weeks. Michael has been friendly and patient, which has allowed my elderly mother to feel confident enough to make her own decisions about her choice of hearing aids and although she found it difficult to insert the hearing aids initially due to arthritic hands, Michael's support has meant that she can now confidently insert and remove her hearing aids independently. Her hearing is now so much improved that she is able to hold conversations with people again and hears well in group settings, her confidence has really grown.
Thank you very much Michael for changing my mother's life in a very positive way.
