Morrisons started life as a bustling egg, milk and butter market stall in Yorkshire back in 1899 – firmly planting its roots as a fresh-focused grocer with an appetite for providing quality and value on the same plate. Now, with 491 stores as well as a fast-growing online shopping service at Morrisons.com the business continues to focus on delivering freshness and quality to millions of customers across the UK - wherever they want to shop for their groceries. Foodmakers and shopkeepers at heart, we have over 9,000 trained butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers and other skilled in-store specialists making more food in store than any other retailer. Morrisons is also the only British supermarket to have its own sites making meat, fruit & veg, fish, bakery and fresh food products – and is unique in preparing and making more than half of the fresh food sold in our stores.

Hungry this morning, so I looked for the nearest place to have a cooked breakfast.
Wish I hadn’t bothered. Morrisons Cafe in Hoddesdon is the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to eat at.
Burnt greasy, awful food. The place is so run down. Gaffer taped flooring, filthy, unclean surfaces. They need a visit from the health inspector. It is a desperate place.

Thought i would do a better grade shop than Aldi. Morrisons always used to do good bread and baked goods. I was shocked by hiw low grade and overpriced things were. I brought a white split tin loaf. Hands down it was the worst bread that I have ever tasted. I fail to see how it could even be described as bread and was really low grade. The sausage rolls were the worst I had ever tasted. My husband had one bite rolled his eyes in disgust and offered me a bite. It was disgusting and even my dogs walked away from the remaining half. The other 3 went in the bin. Don't care if you do better with your produce or poorly stocked shelves because that trip disrespected me and did not provide me with what I thought I had paid for...bye bye 3rd rate Morrisons you don't deserve customers

I have found over recent months that my local Morissons store `Leigh `Lancashire that stock is really low . I went on a Tuesday and there were very few gluten free choices and the fresh vegetables are very old and not the reputation that they like us to believe by the marketing.

It started a few years ago when I moved to Speke, Liverpool.
I first noticed the price of sirloin steak rising rapidly from £5.50 to £7.00 it is nice steak but sadly now out of my price range.
Since then I've noticed that when there is a price increase, its always around 10% or higher. Examples Morrisons spreadable £1.95 to £2.18. Small eggs and £1.00 to £1.10. Garlic individual 45p to 50p.
The meat dept. Is now closed and the repacked meat selection has almostdisappeared. No pork chops for weeks. The meat shelves have been filled with ready meals, I mean who eats that processed rubbish? The illiterate, I guess.
I'll try not to bore you with over charging at the till. Examples 3 large onions in a net bag 90p checkout £2.10 other refunds I've had from 25p to £6+ this is the only supermarket that I've noticed that I know of that has this problem, I mean how many people check their till receipt and reading their till slips you need a Masters degree.
Morrisons are on their way down, I can see the problems, why can't the CEO's see it?
Finishing on a good note their tiger buns are delicious at £1.50.
As a result of all this I only shop at Morrisons when I have to.
My 2 year prediction. Morrisons will be liquidated, WAKE UP MANAGEMENT!

I've been a loyal Morrisons customer for many years, but after my latest experience I've finally had enough. This was my last shop with Morrisons.
The final straw was a ridiculous substitution on a recent order. A pack of 180 teabags was on offer for £5 but was unavailable. Morrisons substituted it with two packs of 80 teabags at £3 each. So instead of 180 teabags for £5, I received 160 teabags for £6. Fewer teabags, higher price. Apparently that's what passes for customer service these days.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've been stung by nonsensical substitutions, but it was the first time it annoyed me enough to submit a complaint through Morrisons' Facebook page. Unsurprisingly, a week later I was still waiting for a response.
I then phoned to cancel my annual Delivery Saver pass, which still had several months remaining. I was told it could be cancelled, but Morrisons would be keeping my money and issuing no refund for the unused period. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none were available but someone would call me back within two hours.
That was over 24 hours ago. I'm still waiting.
The most astonishing part is that I never even got the chance to discuss the original teabag issue with anyone who seemed remotely interested.
The decline in Morrisons' standards has been dramatic. Customer service is virtually non-existent, complaints are ignored, and loyalty appears to count for absolutely nothing. Since the takeover by private equity, the quality of both service and customer experience seems to have fallen off a cliff.
After many years of shopping with Morrisons, they've finally succeeded in driving away a genuinely loyal customer. I can no longer recommend them to anyone.
One star. Only because zero stars isn't an option.
EDIT: 19/07/2026
I responded to Morrison's, per their request. Eventually they replied, offering me 5000 More points (£5 voucher). I explained that a voucher was of no use to me, since I no longer shop there, and suggested they donate it to a food bank. I asked again about the refund for my unused Delivery Pass. That was June 25th. Still no response. I'm hoping this edit will spur them into action, or I will suing them at Small Claims Court

The one thing you can say about Morrisons is they are reliable.
As honest as Donald Trump
As reliable as a British Summer
When they have a good offer slapped all over the Papers/TV.... They can always be relied on that the only thing available will be the empty shelf.
You would think that when they have a special offer they would have extra stock... But no, Morrisons have less stock and like Bullseye in the eighties all you can get is to see what you could have won. As the shelf sits empty, you can come back tomorrow for more empty shelves .
In that.... You can always rely Morrisons.
For 6 years ive had problems with a member of staff at morrisons hunslet ive had threats and abuse so bad ive had to report it to the police. The last incident was i went to the counter and Jo said she wasn't going to serve me i ended up getting banned for a year just for saying I don't want you to serve me. Its about time something was done with this store the staff can be abusive and threatening to customers and get away with it morrisons is the only store you get abuse from staff

I have a Morrisons account and more card but I am unable to log in to my account to order on line , activate offers, use vouchers because I am locked out.
When I try to reset my password I never receive an email to get a code to unlock it.
I have tried many times to do this and still cannot get a code in return. It’s not in spam or anywhere else.
I have written to customer service many times , sometimes they reply and say they will get the problem looked at and other times totally ignored.
We have been a big customer of Morrisons for years.
I am desperate to know how to resolve the issue. In the meantime will stop shopping at Morrisons.

I visited Morrisons in Hastings today 15/06/2026 I can’t fault their stock and range of products but I found the staff members that I dealt with in self checkout area very offhand and treated me as if I was nuisance rather than a customer
A little disappointing

This review is for the staff at Morrisons cafe in Bangor North Wales
We called in for breakfast on Sunday 17th May the place was packed and staff were run off their feet however they were calm and patient and kind
One male server at the till was more than happy to help me with a complicated order and went out of his way he is very well mannered and kind
Another young female assistant was more than happy to go and get more coffee cups even though they were at the back of the shop
It really added to our experience even though it was just a breakfast it made our day

Such a poor experience shopping 1st time at Becontree store today, limited stock, problems with store card, problems at till, extended wait for assistance, staff member said she gave us a £4 good will off shopping, only to find she lied, tried to email Morrisons got run around on site gave up, hence this .
Will be sticking with Sainsbury's and other local stores, within walking as service at this store diabolical, and lying staff assistant.
Will be deleting my account as utterly useless
Have followed link from Trust pilot email and filled in details from my bill, so you can reference your CCTV that covers the tills at time stamping assuming time on CCTV matches till times.

Went to morrisons cafe, Wisbech for brunch about 11.30 this morning with my family, 7 in all, including children. There was entertainment for the children with toys and colouring while they waited, the children's meals for £1 with adults meals were great value and great choice. Best of all the kids meals came out a couple of minutes before the adults meals so theirs could cool down and i could cut their food up without my own getting cold. The staff were really welcoming and polite, particularly the kind lady who served us (unfortunately i didnt get her name) but i wanted to thank her for the hospitality and warm welcome. Good service does not get mentioned enough and i would definitely go back & recommend.

Morrisons Glenfield i’ve shopped at this store regularly and have generally had good experiences, but my most recent visit was very disappointing due to the way a member of staff spoke to us.
We were using the self-checkout and waiting for age verification on an alcohol purchase. After waiting several minutes with no assistance, I said to my partner that we should move to a staffed checkout instead.
As we left the self-checkout, a member of staff came over white man glasses short buzz cut hair and normally works the self check out area and my partner politely explained that we had been waiting for assistance. Rather than acknowledging the wait or apologising, the staff member responded in a sharp and dismissive tone, saying that he was working both self-checkout areas. We understood that he was busy but the way he spoke to us felt unnecessarily rude and confrontational.
The conversation then escalated when we questioned why there was only one person covering the area. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff member continued to respond with attitude and was being so shockingly rude to us when we were the one waiting he then threatened to refuse service even though we weren’t even being rude all we said was we were waiting for ages and that there should be more staff on. Throughout the interaction, we felt as though we were being spoken down to rather than treated as customers who had simply been waiting for help and this particular staff member is always rude to us
What disappointed me most was not the wait itself, but the lack of professionalism and respect during the conversation. A simple explanation or apology would have been enough. i said when he tried to refuse service that it isn’t fair and i work in the same industry and no matter how stressed you get you don’t speak to people the way you are speaking to me it’s outrageous he came over to us with a attitude and didn’t like how we didn’t allow him to talk to us like that. Another member of staff blonde lady later came over, checked if we were okay, and was polite and helpful, which only highlighted the difference in customer service.
I appreciate that retail can be stressful, but customers should still be spoken to respectfully. Unfortunately, this interaction left a very negative impression

I am very disappointed with the lack of action regarding abandoned Morrisons trolleys around our town. We have reported this issue to the local branch twice, yet nothing has been done.
The problem has become so widespread that numerous residents are now complaining about it on our local Facebook community page. Trolleys are being left in streets, footpaths, and residential areas, creating an eyesore and showing a lack of respect for the local community.
Morrisons has a responsibility to retrieve its property and help keep the area clean and safe. Ignoring repeated reports from local residents is simply not acceptable.
Please take immediate action to collect these abandoned trolleys and put measures in place to prevent this ongoing problem. You will be reported to the local council.

Morrison's Bromsgrove. The fruit and veg is that old that it decays within a day or two of purchase. The oranges just are so tart you can't enjoy them,Apples, pears grapes. Nothing is what it should be. I would not shop here at all if there was a local fruit seller around.
