The bus station listed on our tickets was incorrect. 5 other people on the bus who had booked through travelling.com also ended up at the wrong stop. We were dropped at the central Tirane bus station and not TEG where we booked accommodation and it cost us 20 euro to get a driver to our destination. It also meant that we booked the accommodation at the opposite end of town from the north south bus station which we were leaving from the next day meaning that we had to take another taxi unnecessarily accross town to get there in the morning. Was very stressful. Asked how this would be reconciled traveling.com said they would look into it and then that the operator hadn't asnwered them. A month later they said that no refund would be issued. They should not be issuing tickets if they have incorrect info and aren't able to communicate with operators. Can provide copies of the emails. Very disappointing. Highly not recommended.

However, their customer support was incredibly quick and kind—they resolved the issue and refunded the money without any hassle!

We usually use an alternative private transfer service to get from Geneva Airport to the Morzine area but thought we'd give Getby a go this time around.
My only concern was that, unlike other services, the just subcontract out to local operators.
We had a few issues on the way out as the booking info contained the details for the wrong local operator. We had a significant delay and were unable to get in touch with the minibus driver to explain the situation. After a lot of faff, we eventually managed to rearrange for the next day (at our expense).
For the rearranged journey, it was very difficult to get in touch with the operator but he eventually got in touch via whatsapp - However, he only agreed to take us if we paid in cash - By this time we had no option to go with it. He said he would provide a receipt but at the end of the trip, told us that we would need to email his office for this - which unsurprisingly, we never received.
The final nail in the coffin for GetbyBus for us was on the return back to Geneva. We always book a few hours ahead of the recommended time just incase of any delays, however the local operator just didn't turn up. We contacted GetbyBus directly and they said there was nothing they could do. They did get in contact with the local operator who told us that he'd got the wrong day. We ended up getting help from our host who managed to arrange for an emergency transfer with "Skiidy Gonzalez" (our usual transfer company) who came to the rescue and got us back to Geneva on time.
In hindsight, I made the mistake of trying to save a couple of hundred Euros by going with GetbyBus but it was a mistake I'll never make again.
The ladies that I spoke to on the office number were polite enough but didn't really seem to be organised enough to support when it was needed. Although, this could be seen to be the fault of the local operator, my agreement was with GetbyBus and they were unable to do anything to rectify their problems.
We did eventually receive a refund for the return journey but, if you're looking for a reliable service that will get you to your flights on time, please don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid GetbyBus at all costs.
***Follow up to GetbyBus Response***
In GetbyBus's response, they state, " For the missed return transfer, we acted immediately and issued a full refund within a few days."
This is all correct. However, in terms of 'acting immediately', all they were able to do was contact the local operator who confirmed that they had messed up the dates.
The was no immediate action to help find a replacement transfer to get us back to Geneva in time for our scheduled flight and that is the key issue here.
There was no plan B; there was no backup.
Without the help of others, we would have been stranded in the resort and not made it back to Geneva in time for the scheduled flight. GetbyBus were unable to help in any way, other than offer the refund.
The issues here are about reliability, responsibility and the ability to resolve issues in situations where you put your trust in an operator. GetbyBus fell short in all aspects of this. Again, I would advise strongly against using this company if you want a reliable service and the ability to resolve issues in a practical manner when required.

Caution: Poor Customer Service Experience
Unfortunately, my experience with GetByBus (or the associated travel platform) has been very disappointing. The customer support appears to be virtually non-existent — responses feel automated and unhelpful, and there is no clear way to reach a real person or escalate an issue. Phone support is either unavailable or non-functional, and there’s no access to management or higher-level assistance.
For travelers who value reliability and responsive service, I strongly advise avoiding this platform. There are better alternatives available that offer real support when things go wrong.

I wouldn't feel like recommending this company simply because there is no added value on top of the ticket that would justify a 10% fee. Buy the ticket on site and save yourself some money.
Someone would say support does the difference but this is actually not the case: I had the chance to speak with them which apart from quoting some terms and conditions, they did nothing more than blaming me for an issue that was clearly on the bus company side.
In an era where chatGPT can easily outbeat a support agent in many areas (including empathy and service speed), a company like this one should clearly ask themselves what they can really offer to customers to remain competitive, instead of wasting money on branding and making economy on an inexperienced support team.

I had a bus cancelled unexpectedly that left me stranded at a small town on an island in Croatia. I had to make alternative arrangements at very short notice (by Taxi).
I contacted the Customer Support team who were very prompt, understanding, friendly and supportive. They have arranged for a full refund.
It was one of the most pleasing and helpful customer care I have received in a long time. Unusually good service and wonderful to deal with.

Big scam to avoid at all costs!! We booked a ferry ticket with them and received an email with a boarding pass, but it didn’t work. As a result, we missed our ferry and then our flight. Later, customer service sent us our actual ticket. They showed no sympathy afterward and told us that we should have checked with the company 24 hours in advance to make sure our ticket was valid.

Booked a city transfer in Morocco through getbybus. After being shuffled onto a different service and missing our departure by an hour, we were then dragged through a series of random stops, arriving at our destination 2.5 hours late. We were told that this is a shared service and stoppages should be expected. This was communicated exactly nowhere. Refund refused. I had a second separate trip booked through them for the return journey. I asked to cancel and refund this because the service is obviously not as listed and I would rather not use it again. Can't be refunded, my fault for not having the psychic presience to know that the first trip would be garbage. Unable to refund, quoted terms and conditions at me. Avoid this company like the plague.
