Very dismissive and unhelpful

I asked this company for a quote to do a fire safety inspection in my home. They immediately sent terms of business before they would even discuss with me. I sent all the details they required and asked for a polite conversation to give me a steer on what I needed to do. They refused until I signed their terms of business and paid a deposit.
There is nothing illegal about this behaviour, but I've no idea why people run businesses like this. If you don't care about what you do, then do something else. Disappointed and I recommend you you work with more reputable companies.
