Deceiving information
I paid $23 in shipping for an item valued at $22 in order to receive it more quickly. Other websites indicated an estimated delivery time of approximately two weeks, with shipping costs at less than half the price.
However, Fruugo.co.nz advertised dispatch within two days. Given that it presents itself as a local website and charges a premium for shipping, I reasonably expected faster delivery. Instead, the item is being shipped from overseas and is taking a similar amount of time to arrive as it would have from the other websites.

I ordered a case for my Kindle from…
I ordered a case for my Kindle from Fruugo thinking that 'Fruugo NZ' was new Zealand-based. I waited weeks for the delivery and when the product arrived I realized it was the wrong model so I contacted Fruugo to request a change offering to pay the local shipping. I was informed that I would have to pay for the shipping back to China. They pretend that they are NZ-based which should mean that there is a warehouse in NZ so they are misleading the public. I shall never buy from this company again and I am going to post this review regularly.

Frugo nz sold me a counterfeit JBL…
I purchased a JBL speaker from Frugo nz and it was blatantly counterfeit. No serial code, the JBL exclamation logos were upside down, the box it came in was blank without a JBL logo on it and the sound quality is trash. The same speakers sell on Ali Express for $40
Buy at your own risk. This company is a scam.
