I absolutely LOVE Frost Form
I absolutely LOVE Frost Form. Yes there is a learning curve — but once you know how to use them you will LOVE THEM! I own a bakery in the US and I have a FF in every size they offer. And plan to order even more. I love this product.
Great sturdy product
Great sturdy product, immaculate results every time. Helpful website with great recipes
Best purchase I have ever made
Best purchase I have ever made! They help make my cakes look awesome! I have the 8 inch and 6 inch frost form and I can’t wait to use them again! 😁
This is a Great product when you follow…
This is a Great product when you follow instructions!
Definitely a wonderful product for those who are starting out or are professional bakers and want to save time it definitely does that!
It’s trial and error at first so allow yourself to practice to get used to the product don’t just buy it and use it the day before a cake order as I have seen on many reviews. It’s definitely user error not product error.
I would avoid at all costs
I would avoid at all costs! I used my frost form for the first time and it leaked everywhere! I contacted the company who asked for me to send pictures which I did, they then suggested that there may have been a manufacturing error so I asked for my money back, they refused and provided me instructions on how to re shape the product myself! I explained it shouldn’t be my place to re shape their faulty product and that I wanted a refund, I am still waiting for a reply even after several additional attempts to contact them! Absolutely shocking
I love Frostform
I love Frostform! The products help me bake really nice cakes!
I know most gripe about custom and import charges but it's clearly stated on the web page that custom fees may apply. First 3 orders there was duty to pay, this last one no.
The products work as they should, trying out the cake cream, flexifrost next! Can't wait! Highly recommend!!
Avoid
Avoid, I also got stung with charges from FedEx, firstly was my bad for not thinking of the brexit charges, however let me break them down:
I was charged a disbursement fee, for FedEx paying the charges up front which were close to £11
And then tax on top, but if you look at frost forms website in euros the prices is the same if you convert to pounds which includes tax, plus it states “includes taxes” when you go to pay in pounds. Once you’ve paid then your invoice says no tax charged.
This is super misleading. I emailed them to complain and was sent a really short email basically saying it’s due to brexit.
I’d avoid personally, the product isn’t worth the bad customer service. You can definitely buy similar elsewhere or via cake craft company for much less money. I’ve raised a dispute with them and FedEx to try to get to the bottom of it.
Avoid buying online as you'll have to pay Customs charges
I wish I'd read the reviews on here before buying from them. I, too, have been stung for customs charges. I bought the double set and have to pay another £40.03 duty. I contacted them and said I'd been misled and all they did was send me a screenshot of my order. Yes it says 'customs and duty may apply' but that was AFTER I placed the order. There's no mention of it before ordering. I'm only a home baker so will never recover the cost of this.
Beware!
Beware!! Soon after my order arrived I received a bill from FedEx for £70 duty!!! I contacted frostform and was basically told even tho I had paid shipping tough luck once it leaves Ireland it’s up for duty charges! This is not stated anywhere!!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY…
I purchased this item from cake international 2022 as it appeared to be a very useful product. When I got home I realised that I had been sold mismatched items so it was completely useless to me as they wouldn’t fit. I emailed several times for a week and heard nothing back and even messaged their instagram account too and eventually got a reply to advise she would look into it and after explaining the issue I was instructed to return the base of the product as this was the wrong size. I returned the product through Royal Mail which cost £15 only to realise several days later it hadn’t arrived at their warehouse but it was stuck at customs with a fee to pay. I have emailed frost form explaining and still NO REPLY! In total it has cost me £150 and have a good mind to cancel my credit card transaction as I have been missold and had no help from them what so ever. I advise not to purchase from this company unless you want to be out of pocket and totally ignored
Not told by Frost Form about Duty Tax
Frost Form - Very expensive but It looked fabulous and a huge time saver. It was recommended by a trusted baker who is local to me and who show cased it on Instagram - I decided to treat myself and as it was coming from Ireland ( I’m in the UK) with a £12 shipping fee I order 3 sizes - almost £160
I had good communication via emails off the company about receiving my order, my payment and when it was to be despatched.
Fed Ex didn’t deliver on the day their text message stated then I received another text the day after advising me to pay £42.12 in Duty and Tax. I immediately emailed Frost Form and requested they have the order back as I was not made aware of this additional cost.
Frost Form advised they would email me back after speaking to a manager.
Fed Ex then delivered my order the following day and left it with a neighbour as I was out.
I was concerned that the request for further payment may have been a scam!
I emailed the company and asked them what was going on as Fed Ex didn’t ask for any further payment.
It took several days to get a reply and they seemed confused and thought I had not received my order.
I reiterated what had gone on. I really thought there was a mix up - especially as other friends had received their orders and not been asked to pay further Duty costs.
A week later I receive an invoice in the post for £42.12 from Fed Ex.
It’s a legal requirement that I have to pay - I’m very cross about it all - I do understand it’s not money going to Frost Form but because of Brexit - but why on earth did Frost Form NOT advise me of this at the time of ordering.
Fed Ex advised me that the company would have known I would be billed for Duty and Tax.
I would never have placed the order if I had known because that is a hell of a lot of money!
I’m very cross with Frost Form for not informing me. I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience this. So my advice is do NOT order from this company as they are not open and honest with customers.
