Poor after sales service
Bike delivered within 72 hours which is great however the bike needs servicing, i made the company aware of this and still nothing back to confirm that they will send someone to fix it.
So initially it looks like they are really keen to sell you a bike but not too keen to make sure it works

It was easy and painless to purchase from here, the delivery was fast and the Bike is fantastic, however there needs to be direct communication from Fitness equipment NI to the customer about the delivery, updates on when it has been shipped, when the delivery is due to arrive, etc. I had to contact them to find this out. And was expected to contact the delivery company myself to arrange where to put the package, I only knew who they were after phoning Fitness Equipment NI. Other than that everything else was perfect.

Disappointed
Enquired on behalf of my fiance about equipment on the website, was told multiple times it was in stock, arrived to view it and it wasn't in stock.
Purchased an item online, received no email confirmation of purchase, delivery date kept changing, which is understandable due to covid, but no communication as to new delivery date. Had several delivery dates come and go with no word from them, any enquiry was answered days later. One was "we'll refund you and give your item to next person in the queue".
Attractive, promising website, but let down by poor customer relations.

I understand your frustration - all of our WaterRower orders had their lead times pushed back since the start of the outbreak. This was due to a combination of factors; all WaterRower products are handmade in the United States, recent difficulties on international shipping due to COVID-19 and an unforeseen influx in worldwide demand on the WaterRower factory.
On behalf of everyone at Fitness Equipment NI, we apologise for the lack of communication and we will certainly use your feedback to help improve our service going forward.
With regards to your comment about our staff offering you a refund. I looked up your email chain and, despite the fact that it was not me who replied to you, prior our staff offering you a refund, you came across exasperated with the extended lead time. With that in mind, I don't fully understand why kindly offering you a refund as an alternative was a problem?
Lastly, one important point that you missed out of your review is that you were told in April that your rower would be delivered early in the month of June. I'm pleased to report that we met that deadline and successfully delivered your order on the 8th of June.

Despite significant delays due to Covid - 19 disruption, the customer communications was very good throughout , both emails and phonecall updates. A refund was also offered because of delays.
Waterrower eventually arrived and has lived up to expectations. Overall, excellent service from FitnessEquipmentNI .
