Honestly, I didn't think I was going to secure a Mortgage Offer so quickly in June 2026. As a Visa Holder, I know that many lenders require you to have a 10% deposit or have strict rules about applying for a higher LTV. I heard about FTF in Jan 2026 and reached out to Ripley wanting to know if my visa type can allow me secure a mortgage. He mentioned yes and another colleague Jamila would reach out to me. Jamila and I spoke and I mentioned I was looking to save 10% deposit and be ready by Jan 2027 to buy. Jamila said I don't need 10% and I could do 5% 🤭.
I was skeptical because even the 5% wouldn't be ready until June. She was positive and encouraged me to start then regardless. Then I got to speak with Henry in March over a welcoming detailed discovery call that made me feel at peace even though I wasn't ready yet with the 5%. Henry was so patient and encouraging.

In April, we applied for my AIP which was out within 2 days, making me aware of the maximum amount I could borrow. This gave me clarity and Henry and Lauren were so detailed in reviewing my documents to prevent any issues. Next, Henry said I should start viewing houses, damn 😄. I was still like hmmm I don't have the complete 5% yet but anyway, I started viewing properties in May. Henry was an amazing guide throughout my viewings and offers and that was truly going above and beyond! ✨️ It felt like having a big brother who has my back. 15 viewings later and 2 offers Accepted in June, it was time for the moment of truth! Mortgage application done and offer received in less than two weeks!!!

What makes my experience with FTF stand out is the ability of the team to guide me towards achieving my goals before my initial timeline without feeling pressured. Every call with the team left me feeling encouraged, energised and heard. I appreciate the Zoom calls, Henry, as you know visuals are a lot better drive human connections. It genuinely felt great knowing that everyone at FTF has my back and carries me along every step of the way. Ibimina was another team member that made a positive impact on my experience. Always keeping me updated. At this point I feel like I know everyone on this team and the level of service didn’t drop irrespective of who I engaged with.

Since the first contact all the given information was very detailed, Babul was very patient explaining every step, and I could even say that he went the extra mile when guiding us in the overall process.
