So glad we discovered Firehouse!
We have had a problem with our fire for years with a nasty smell getting worse and worse. We now know the smell was coming from a beam of wood above the fireplace. We had two other local companies, from Ulverston and Kendal, over to diagnose & quote. One said we needed to replace a brand new flue and fill with vermiculite. The other had no idea.
We thought we'd try a 3rd and so so glad we did and discovered Firehouse!
So professional, friendly, knowledgeable and competitive. They diagnosed the issue correctly (as it turns out) within minutes and we now have a really cosy, efficient and non-smelly wood stove for Christmas. Could not be happier.
I will be recommending Firehouse to all friends & family and telling them to avoid anyone else ... if we had gone with either of the other two companies we would currently be several ££££ pounds out of pocket with still a smelly fire. LOOK NO WHERE ELSE ... Seriously!!

Excellent service from start to finish. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly back office/installation teams made our life very easy. We were coming from a blank canvas in our knowledge of stoves and we received a huge amount of assistance in making our choice. Plus we were also able to choose the slab of slate that would form the hearth and back board. Would have no hesitation in recommending Firehouse.

Wes and his team at Firehouse fitted a Chesney stove for us last year with a beam above and we are really delighted with our purchase.
We got great advice on what type of stove to fit and then had it installed by the Firehouse team who did a professional job .
