Firehouse removed a gas fire insert and opened up the chimney breast before a full wood burning stove installation. Choosing the fire at the showroom was straight forward with helpful staff. By far the best experience were from the staff that visited to carry out the work from a site inspection, removal, and installation. Hard working, pleasant and very competent. I enjoyed inviting them into my home.

Bought a 6 person cedar hot tub. Visited the showroom to discuss bespoke options. Very straightforward and flexible to get the config I wanted. Everyone friendly and professional. Very pleased with tub. 3 month after install, a small leak developed in one of the hoses. Very quick and professional response to sort what turned out to be a minor issue

Delighted with our fireplace, the fitters were fantastic and the fireplace looks amazing, Everything from the survey, quote and installation was a breeze. The installers were clean and worked very hard, they cleaned up after too, which was a nice surprise.

I was disappointed to find that the hose is not compatible with UK calor gas bottles.

Extraordinary light polluter in a registered Dark Skies Locale. Has a flashing sign operating through the night that would likely infringe all broadcast flashing light rules for reasons such as Epilepsy. Wish the business well but Kendal is not China!

Guys at Firehouse have just installed a beautiful Morso Squirrel log burner in my place. Excellent job. Been a pleasure to deal with the company. Staff are curtious and professional right the way through from sales, to site visit to installation. Price was good and the most competitive I received by far. Not all about price - quality is there too. So, on the basis of my experience, I highly recommended Firehouse.

I purchased a Beefeater BBQ over the weekend from Firehouse and today they cancelled my order as they had wrongly priced the item on their website.

Rather than provide an honest reason for the cancellation they falsely made an excuse the item was out of stock even though it was still advertised on their website. I have no doubt that if I had ordered the item at the correct price they would have kept my money and processed the order.

I would have accepted an honest approach to dealing with my situation but the fact they fabricated the truth about the cancellation I would urge any potential customer to think carefully about buying from this company.

We've recently had a new Morso stove fitted by Firehouse Kendal (March 2023). We experienced great end to end service from the reception we had when first visiting the showroom to the professional and courteous team who prepared our fireplace and fitted the new stove, hearth and mantle. Many thanks to Donovan, Brandon, Nick and Quinton. Highly recommended!

5 stars for installation & zero stars for after sales service. Having spent in excess of £3000 with Firehouse, our Gas stove refused to stay lit after 13 months. Over the course of 2 weeks we telephoned Firehouse 4 times & also e-mailed but they failed to return our calls as promised. We then visited the shop & was told they were too busy & handed a piece of paper with another Gas Engineer’s number to call. On calling this number we were told he couldn’t come out for at least 3 weeks as he was also very busy. Basically, Firehouse were simply not interested in helping us. So by all means have the company do the installation but just don’t expect any after sales service if something goes wrong.

Could not be more helpful. Worked with us all the way with what we wanted. Helped us out of a really bad installation by another dealer. Now we feel safe and have a safe and working fire. They kept us up to date with what was happening throughout the job. I recommend this company to anyone who wants a professional installation.

Glad to say this company is way better than most of the stove, oven, wood burner fitting companies I have dealt with.

You know the type - was a builder now a stove fitter - comes around in a big new pick up on the phone all the time never to be seen again

Had them all over the UK - but seriously Firehouse cares which is a massive plus point

Yes they can over promise a bit and possibly need to just be mindful of that - but they want you to be happy and they worked really hard fitting the stove

Glad I can give a local company a thumbs up- definitely if you are in Cumbria call them first

Excellent service from Ana. Swift delivery to Scotland. Easy to assemble. The stove’s v rusty but I know that’ll come off once we use it. But a shame no instructions come with the stove.

Thank you firehouse! Jon received his smoker oven after the company enabled a gift voucher system on their website so family members could contribute to his birthday present. He has built the oven and is very impressed with the quality, not used it yet but looking forward to it! Very good customer service with a nice note to say happy birthday with the delivery and a free cover tor it too.
