A Strange Experience
I had a strange experience with Fietsunie. I needed to buy a battery for my bike, but I wasn’t sure about the exact one. So, I added a note to my order and included photos. However, they sent the wrong product without checking the notes. I then started the return process and sent the package back via DHL, paying the return fee. After DHL received my package, Fietsunie apologized for their mistake, but then DHL lost the package.
Here’s where it got strange: since I was the one returning the package, DHL wouldn’t let me open an investigation. When I informed Fietsunie, they said they would start the process, but I also needed to initiate it. After a process of about a month, the package couldn’t be found, but Fietsunie still refunded my money.
The process was a bit rough, but in the end, I wasn’t left at a loss. I’m looking forward to shopping with them again. I’m sure this was just a one-time unlucky incident. I’m grateful that they didn’t leave me disadvantaged.
