This place is incredible. I started off with the online sessions during lockdown after a long time off exercise and it helped with my routine but also, my confidence. Once the gym reopened I went to the sessions in the gym and was welcomed by the most amazing community. I have never felt like I belonged at a gym until I met Cheryl & Sally and was welcomed into the EBF family. 5 years down the line I have grown my own business within EBF as a Sports Therapist helping both the members and people outside the gym with their aches and pains. I have also grown in such confidence that I qualified as a PT myself in order to use this alongside my Sports Therapy degree. I love being at EBF with a community like no other. I can’t thank Cheryl & Sally enough for the help and guidance they have offered me every step of the way. The combination of some determination and hard work on my part alongside their support has really helped me to grow as a Sports Therapist and a person. The only regret I have is not meeting these guys sooner. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us all.

I was taken on as staff. Was great the first couple months. Was told I’d grow and develop as a pt and told I’d be involved a lot. To anyone thinking of applying to work for them don’t bother! 2 years of my life wasted… Sally is amazing but Cheryl is awful and doesn’t know how to deal with people. Came in on my own time unpaid to learn how they run the gym many times. Then the sessions I did were more like group fitness not pt, which I didn’t mind because I enjoy doing both. But the standard rate of pay for an instructor doing group fitness is £20-£30 a session, I got £12.50 a session which is a joke. I got told I would be involved with the semi private pt’s which I was looking forward to doing but never got the chance to actually do it despite it going ahead as planned. I was off ill more than I’d like to have been admittedly but illness can’t be helped and I have other contraindications that lead to me being sick more. When she took on extra members of the team, I felt as though I was cast aside and forgotten about as I was left out of events, the semi private personal training ect. When these additional staff members were taken on, I had sessions taken off me and given to them. When I was told why it was due to me being inconsistent which I know I am not, I have a degree in exercise, health, fitness and nutrition so I am very consistent and confident on what and how I train people. I went from 4 sessions a week to 3, then from 3 to 1 a week. With having no explanation at all as to why 1 of the sessions had been taken off me at all. Despite being off sick, I did step up and help unpaid on the times I saw help was needed. Do they remember this? Never. The only reason I stayed was because I genuinely care about the members! I had so much respect for them and they are paying an extortionate amount of money to attend just 4 sessions a week max. So I wanted to give my all for them as the members are incredible there and I actually feel sorry for them now. I was never told officially I was being sacked but the final session I took was something only I could lead and the others didn’t want to take over. That was until December 2024 when I was told the session was being replaced with yoga due to a drop in attendance. I did see a decline in attendance but that wasn’t just for the session I lead. The members were leaving due to things like cost increases, the 4 sessions a week cap, not getting the most for their money ect so the drop in attendance was across all sessions not just mine. I saw it coming at this point though, as I saw them advertise for a yoga instructor to join them weeks before hand and knew that yoga would be replacing the only session I did. I was told this news and wasn’t surprised, I was upset I wouldn’t see my members anymore more than anything. On the final session I did, Sally came to collect the keys to the gym and told me it wasn’t the end and that I was still on the books. Lies, if they needed me I had no access to the gym as the keys had been taken off me. This meant to me I hadn’t officially been sacked/let go. Recently, I saw another advertisement from them wanting to take on a new pt. They know I’m still available but did they ask me? No. I laugh reacted to this advert on their Facebook page and then was blocked from seeing the page which tells me all I need to know. If you wanted me gone all you had to do was say so instead of dragging me along in the dark. I’m glad I’m no longer there now, my mental health has improved ten fold! It’s the members I truly feel sorry for and anyone else they take on as staff. I hope anyone who is thinking of applying to work for them sees this review. Don’t do it, you will be used, walked all over then forgot about and abandoned. Not once did I feel like I improved and progressed my career as a pt there. I gained back my confidence after having a major injury and taking a year out of personal training due to recovery but I could have gained my confidence back anywhere. They don’t deserve your skills and knowledge. Avoid at all costs if you value your sanity!

I joined EBF after doing their 30 Day Kickstart Trial and am so glad that I decided to “invest” in myself. I can see (and feel) the progress I’ve made and am now a much fitter, stronger, slimmer and healthier person with loads of energy.
All the members and coaches are so friendly, supportive and great motivators! You will find a real community spirit here.
There are many different sessions at different times throughout the day/week to choose from, with everything planned and set up for you each time – all ready to go. The dedicated coaches are amazing and are there for you throughout each session to demonstrate, to make sure you are doing things right and improving, or to adapt an exercise to suit your ability.
I highly recommend the EBF Gym and hope you will give it a go – it is well worth it.

My EveryBodyFit journey has really been the gift to myself that keeps on giving. Building on core steps to improve strength, stamina & self belief. Growing stronger in every session, supported by such a beautiful community of staff & members, who bring out the very best in one another. If you are thinking of joining a gym with heart & soul, that truly enables you to reach your goals & cares for every member. Come along give EBF a go, you won’t regret it!!
EveryBodyFit is the gym for your journey, not just for January xx
We have been members of EBF for over 12 months, that’s me and hubby. In the past I’ve been a member of some of the big gym chains and I’ve also had 1-2-1 personal training sessions. In my view what makes this gym different is that all sessions are with a coach. There are different levels of membership, ours gives us 2 group sessions and a semi private ( small PT class) every week.Ours works out at less than £10 per session which for the quality of instruction we think is good value. We are fitter, stronger, more flexible and have less body fat which are all key to aging well. I feel as a post menopausal female I’m in better control of my figure and far more toned than a year ago. The coaches ensure you challenge yourself which again is a key benefit as in my experience you just don’t do this working out alone. There is an age range but I would say the majority are between 30- 70+. All are welcomed and there’s a definite community atmosphere so if you think this will meet your needs, give them a call!
I’ve been a member of this gym for ten years now and it’s part of my life. Classes are written to get the most out of you and everyone is so friendly and non pretentious. Cheryl and Sally find out what your needs are and help you achieve your goal. A recent body composition check gave me a metabolic age of 34 when I am almodt 50! so feeling the benefit of regular gym routine

If you're looking for a gym that combines effective workouts with a welcoming, family-like atmosphere, EveryBody Fit is the perfect place. The small group classes are fantastic—they’re expertly designed to challenge you while ensuring everyone gets personal attention from the trainers.
The supportive vibe here makes it easy to stay motivated, no matter your fitness level. From the moment you walk in, you feel like part of the community. I highly recommend EveryBody Fit for anyone who values quality training and a friendly, inclusive environment!
I have been at EBF for about 4 years. I have NEVER been consistent at any gym or exercise group before.
The difference with this gym is the people. Everyone is warm and welcoming, all the coaches are knowledgeable and will adapt any exercise to support progression or accommodate existing injuries.
Special thanks to Sally for putting up with me for so long and encouraging me when I lack motivation, she is amazing at what she does !
It is a ‘no ego’ gym, no competitiveness, just people of different shapes, sizes, abilities and ages who want to improve their health and wellbeing.
There are class times to suit most, exercises constantly change so never get bored, parking is good, holly the sports therapist gives amazing massages (prevented an old back injury flaring up for 3 years), lots of options and plans to suit different needs. The booking system is easy to use too.
Over the years I have been at EBF I have seen so many people who have massively improved their fitness, mobility and wellbeing.
If you are looking for somewhere to flex your pecs or flutter your eyelashes it’s not the gym for you. If you want somewhere where people will support you to reach whatever goals you have and meet a great bunch of people it’s 100% worth giving it a go.
I have been a member at EBF for 5 1/2 years now and have enjoyed every minute. The coaches are knowledgeable and will correct technique to avoid any injuries and all classes are tailored to individual ability. It is a welcoming happy place, a real community and I have made some lovely friends there too. I would definitely recommended EBF to anyone. So come and have look what have you got to lose.
I have never taken part in games or sport of any kind but age and concerns about maintaining an active lifestyle ( I like country walks) set me off searching for things I might do. I came across Everybody fit and am delighted to be on a transformative journey. In a matter of weeks I feel fitter than I ever have. The friendly supportive atmosphere that the trainers create set me at ease from the start. Their patience and encouragement is amazing. After only a few weeks I already feel fitter, stronger and more mentally alert.
This gym has an unbelievable community of supportive members. The coaches are motivational, encouraging and give you the belief that you can do almost anything. Feeling stronger and fitter than I have done in years. The best thing I have done for a long time, wish I'd done it sooner. Cannot recommend this gym highly enough and can't imagine it not being a part of my life.
The best gym I have been to by miles, I am a 60 year old woman with joint replacements, didn’t think I could do exercise again. But since being a member of the EBF community I feel great, fitter stronger, more confident, all the coaches are great, they are constantly checking to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly, they adapt them if needed, but they do really push and encourage you to work hard, they are very knowledgeable and helpful, I always look forward to my classes. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I was a member for 6 months in 2024. Not a great gym- they misadvise on lifting techniques , clutter the floor with free weights (trip hazard) in the large group sessions , use incorrect equipment (slam balls) and there are no mandatory weigh ins to push progress / motivation. The booking system needs improving to avoid disappointment when you can’t get on a session . Staff retention looks pretty poor (never a good sign for any small business) and one particular awkward moment was watching a coach get out of breath doing the exercise demos. It’s a mixed gym (apparently) but one that promotes pizza and beauty products .. very odd! Final word .. watch out if you need to end membership suddenly .. they threaten debt collection immediately 👎🏼 customer facing training definitely required! In a nutshell shell , There are lots of alternative gyms in the Preston area so be sure to explore all options as EBF are way off the mark by my experience .

Not great for the money you're paying. Younger trainers are good but other than that, not worth the price.
The classes are limited to a maximum of four per week and are hard to book since they are always full. If you cancel within five hours of the class, you lose that class entirely and are down to just three.
The gym is uncomfortably hot in the summer, with no fans or free water provided. They expect you to either pay £1.25 for a small 500ml bottle or fill up your water bottle from the toilets. I believe having accessible water is a basic requirement, even for budget gyms.
The 'workshops' they charge £300 for are nothing but Google images and random Facebook quotes. The nutritional workshop offers nothing you can't easily access online.
Be cautious of the reviews, they are often required as T&C's of their challenges.
18 months into membership at this gym and I'm still attending :-) and more importantly I still want to attend! This gym, the coaches and every member is just the best - keeping life real and always keeping the approach to fitness friendly, fresh and engaging.
I originally joined the gym to improve my overall wellness. I'd entered that stage of life where my size was increasing and my mobility was decreasing (no matter what fad diet I tried). 15 months into membership things were improving at a gradual steady pace and I was happy with my progress and increased mobility. And then came the CHALLENGE. Challenging me to take ownership of my time, my goals, and my approach to my own health & wellbeing. The wakeup and shakeup I didn't realise I needed. Challenging me to fully commit to 3 months of considered and regular workouts, alongside coached nutrition, mindset and behaviour workshops - this has reset everything! I'm far more aware and informed of what is needed, why and what really works for me now. And the meno-belly is getting smaller everyday - woohoo. I'm 9.9kg lighter than I was when I started the gym and most of that has been achieved during the challenge. And whats even better is that its fat I'm losing not muscle.
Looking forward to another workout at the gym tonight and healthier, happier tomorrows - all thanks to this gym and community.
I've been a member of the gym since it opened and really love it. The encouragement and support you get from the trainers and other members helps you achieve more than you think possible. Not having mirrors helps make the experience even more positive.
I've just completed a 3 month challenge which included body composition scans and workshops on nutrition, motivation and mindset. This helped me to focus on what I really want to achieve & how to do it and was a great package. Now I just want to push on!
I joined EBF 2.5 years ago as a newbie to gym exercise. I immediately loved the guidance and support that was apparent from my first visit. I have just completed a 3 month challenge and I am so pleased with the results. The coachs at EPF are AMAZING and very knowledgeable in all areas of fitness including nutrition as well as fitness and exercise. I am 57 and have exchanged several kg of fat to muscle. Delighted!
I have been a member of EveryBody Fit for over 7 years now, which is testament to how good it is! I can honestly say it is the best gym I have been to, as it is different to typical gyms.
The classes are small group personal training sessions, where the knowledgable coaches support you & show you how to use the weights and conduct the exercises with the correct technique. Every workout is carefully programmed to achieve results. The coaches know everyone’s name & push you to fulfil your potential by knowing what you are able to achieve.
The EveryBody Fit ethos focuses on inclusivity so everyone feels welcome by the family feel community that has been created. This makes people feel comfortable, whether you are new to gym based workouts or are looking to increase your fitness levels.
I have recently completed the 3 month ‘Just the Weigh You Are’ challenge, which has been a positive lifestyle change due to the knowledge the coaches have shared on the importance of the correct nutrition, mindset and healthy habits to achieve results.
Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their health & fitness!
I love EveryBody Fit it’s the best gym ever, I’ve just finished doing the 3 month challenge Just The Weigh You Are, and it’s totally mind blowing, the best thing I ever did, the knowledge the coaches give you will stay with you for life, there are workshops on nutrition, mindset and behaviour I ve learnt so much, you are looked after in every way, I’ve been doing 3 to 4 classes a week I’ve lost 4.5kg of body fat, gained muscle mass and feel so much healthier and stronger, I highly recommend this gym there is nothing out there like it, everyone is so friendly, and the coaches are just amazing Cheryl,Sally,Benny and Becks they will all look after you get to know you and your name and your strengths and weaknesses to make your experience at EBF the best decision you have ever made, I Love it here the community is amazing, come and have a look for yourself you will not be disappointed.
