DON'T BUY OFF THEM!!

Bought a drone via TV. Doesn't work. Trying to resolve the problem. Bloody impossible. Hundreds spent. Disgusting attitude by company. Don't give a damn. Definitely cannot and will not recommend to anyone. Be very wary about spending your hard earned cash

NEVER buy an RDM

RDM drones are the very worst drones you can buy
There is NO customer service when they don't work and the product is cheap and an utter waste of money.

If you need or want a drone - DO NOT buy an RDM drone!

I bought the RDM pro max drone with GPS…

I bought the RDM pro max drone with GPS for a Christmas present in December 2025.
We tried it Christmas day and it took off out of control from the start.
We tried it three times and it wouldn't even hover like it states on ShopOnTV.
We the noticed the rear left motor had stopped spinning.
Got in touch with ShopOnTV and it's not a straight forward send it back for replacement or refund.
I had to take film footage showing what it's doing a week later they wanted high def picture's of the blades the motor not working and the spare blades for some reason.
I got in touch with my credit card provider i bought the drone with to report it because of all the hassle and had to tell ShopOnTV it's ready to collect and they have 15 days yo act on this before the bank step in.
ShopOnTV contacted me a few days later stating I have to send it to RDM in London to check the fault before I get a refund.
It's still on going at the minute so report again once I have news from the test.
All I can say is I wouldn't buy off ShopOnTV again as they are playing on the fact they are a third party seller even though you are paying them the money for the product.
They say they are responsible for the refund which in my mind is misinformation to the customer.
The drone isn't demonstrated properly as the guy advertises 20 seconds out the box one button and it is flying.
He also says every drone is checked but if that is the case why do you have to configure the drone in a certain sequence first before flying which takes you more than 20 seconds.
The show is over two hours long and I managed to catch one brief message telling you to go onto an RDM site which has a small video explaining how to set it up.
Thi is explained on the two and a half hour show it just rants about how good and quick and easy it is to operate
This is bad management from both ShopOnTV and RDM
Pay a little extra and buy DJI as I'm sure the experience will be better.

RDM Drone shoptv.com

Brought a RDM GX Ultra Pro drone from shoptv. Product arrived fine flew a couple of times indoors and drone seemed easy to use and worked as expected. Next time tried to use outdoors I noticed only 3 of the blades was rotating. Tried resetting and re-followed setup instructions before contacting customer support. Customer support asked for video to refer to supplier. I then got told that due to operator fault the drone would not be repaired or replaced. This is totally unacceptable admit is obviously a manufacturing fault

Drone sold through shop tv AVOID

A gift from my partner!! I’m a 50 year old novice drone flyer, and have recently bought a piece of land. My partner new I wanted a drone to fly above my land to get some footage, he was sold this drone by a great sales pitch and easy starter drone.. I took their advice and tried it indoors to get used to it, I found it wasn’t really easy to control and it hit a cupboard a couple of times before we decided it would be safer to try outdoors.. the next day on my land I took the drone up, it wasn’t responding very well at all then it dropped from the sky, at this point we noticed only 3 propellers were working.. this company have wiped their hands of me saying “customer damage”, devastated as my partner payed over £260 for the drone, we are trying to get some sort of resolve through shop tv at the minute but this company are cowboys and shop tv should avoid.
