We ordered a damaged piece, and they sent it as promised. We were able to fix the problem, and the electric scooter is back on track.

I have generally been happy with my E-Wheels scooter, but I am disappointed with how my warranty case has been handled.
After only 5 months of use, the scooter developed serious water damage and corrosion. It was stored in a garage when not in use and was only ridden in light rain.
What I struggle to understand is how a scooter can develop this level of damage in such a short period of time under those conditions.
E-Wheels rejected the warranty claim and concluded that the damage must have been caused by water exposure beyond normal use. However, I have not received a clear explanation of what that exposure was or what evidence supports that conclusion.
I understand that not every warranty claim can be approved, but I expected a clearer explanation and a more balanced assessment of the case.
I hope E-Wheels will take another look at this. I would much rather update this review with a positive outcome than leave the matter unresolved.
Great people behind the bikes. This is the fourth one we have ordered.

The initial reply time was long (3-4days) and did not improve after the first reply. Also, each time it is a new person who is replying, which made it a bit more difficult to follow what is done/required for solving issue. But eventually we got a spare part sent (after sending a reminder/question whether it has been sent) and received a link to a video instruction for performing replacement and now our electric scooter is functioning again. So the service is good, but is pretty slow.

I bought a Momas Ultimate + last year in Trondheim, and a few weeks ago the front fork shock absorber stopped working. It wouldn’t hold air, and it was clearly faulty. Ewheels Trondheim responded very well and sent a brand new complete fork for the bike. Since it wasn’t fully assembled, I had to take it to a bike workshop to get it installed, but Ewheels covered the full cost. It’s incredibly reassuring to know you can rely on the after-sales service when you live six hours away from the nearest Ewheels store :)
