Excellent post processing software.
I think the images I have processed in Dxo photolab 9 are better than the same images processed in Lightroom. The noise reduction is awesome, and the ai selections are excellent. I really miss the removal tool and find it takes me much longer to edit even after using it for a few months.

Pure Raw 6.5 fixed.
Pure Raw 6.5 had issues, but happy to report that 6.5.1 has addressed these.
In my experience this is still the best raw denoising software available.

I have been using DxO for more than 10 years
I have been using DxO for more than 10 years and I am satisfied with it. I appreciate using a software from a company that is independent of major global trusts. I don't want to spend hours editing on my Raw files. DxO allows me a rather light post-production work. I admit that for many years I have not looked at the competition because the product satisfies me. It evolves every year to stay up to date with the latest technological advances. Of course there would be ergonomic improvements to be made. Maybe it will come with time.
I appreciate the bridge between DxO Lab and the Nik Collection that I use quite often, especially SilverEfex. On this subject, a remark on the HDR module whose limits I have often reached, it needs a deep update. A panoramic creation tool would also be missing in the DxO set, it would be a top. It's a shame because there was a French tools who was bought by an American and is no longer updated (a bit the same story as the Nik collection).
On the cost side, DxO highlights a life-long license purchase, but the almost imperative annual update following the increasingly rapid technological advance, ends up representing a cost equivalent to a monthly subscription among competitors. It would be nice if DxO practiced discounts for its most loyal customers.

Working with DxO is easy and fun once you’ve got acquainted with the features. The results of converting RAW/NFC files are very good and with Nik it makes a great editing tool. There are still some hiccups in combination with Photoshop Elements, also the updates should be free, unless some big changes are made.

Impressive processing of the raw files from my Sony. Which results in impressive details and sharpness in addition to super noise processing. In addition, the price is very good (compared to the C1, which I have used before ).
