Ordered here in October 2020, paid USD 314. There were many delays - which would be understandable due to COVID and war. Now the campaign owner has obviously gone dark and ran away with the money (s... See more

Negative stars - Alex should be in prison
If I could rate Dune Case a -5/5, I would. Total pieces of garbage who take your money and never deliver. Alexander C. Gomez should be in prison!
Paid and never received my product.
Paid and never received my product.
It’s been almost 2 years since the purchase date.
Don’t buy from them! SCAM
This company is a total scam
This company is a total scam. I ordered my case in the Fall of 2019. Fast forward to end of 2021, Alex Gomez has pulled every excuse under the sun as to why he has not shipped units yet. Then he announces at the end of the year that he has cases to ship but due to the supply chain crunch, we must pay extra money. He offered "fast courier shipping" for $349 and charged people around $100 for space on a container ship. These were supposed to ship within two weeks, so sometime in early January at the LATEST. The day before the Chinese New Year holiday, he claimed to ship 90+ cases to customers who elected to pay $350 for the fast courier option. About 15 cases were actually shipped and none of them shipped with the correct options. Since then, no other cases have been shipped. Alex and his employee have entirely disappeared from the Discord forum that they host and they do not respond to emails. Avoid at all costs.
Outright fraud
The owner Alex Gomez lied to customers for 2+ years about the status of the product. Told some real whoppers. Several times claimed to have shipped something and then would disappear, turning up later with some lame excuse. Started charging outrageous additional fees for "expedited shipping" service, and still didn't ship anything out other than a small number of token cases which were incomplete/broken.
Stay away from Dune or anything Alexander Gomez ever attempts in the future.
I would not trust DuneCase LLC one iota
I would not trust DuneCase LLC one iota. From a good idea they slowly transitioned into a ponzi scheme and then to a pure fraud.
Scam
I backed the dune case over a year and a half ago after they said they were "now shipping". never got anything.
they walked away with $1.4million and managed to give out 27 cases in total, all of which were defective and missing parts like screws, or the front panel.
Not only that, every single update and Q&A from the CEO has been filled with lies and excuses. Alex Gomez is a scammer.
the CEO's excuse has always been "shipping crisis" but he refused to ship to chinese backers despite there not being a crisis for that, and Dune later broke away from IGG platform and started taking extra payments from people, up to an extra $350 each for "fast shipping" last year, and somehow still never shipped anything to the people that paid that extra money to get it delivered.
It's worth noting that Dune Case LLC has been a company for 8-9 years now and has *only ever delivered on 27 cases* in that time despite taking 1.4 million in total
Absolute crap and lies and untruthful.
Absolute crap and lies and untruthful.
Avoid it if you can. It was a expensive $395 plus shipping voyage. i would assume i will never receive the case. I wish Alex Gomez (CEO) that he got stuck with money in the mouth.
Dishonest CEO
I advise against purchasing cases from Dune as they are unable to deliver the product.
I backed the Dune Pro case with Dice-Y cover around 2.5 years ago. Throughout 2020, it became apparent that Alexander Gomez (CEO of Dune) was taking a "fake it till we make it" approach to communications.
Now in 2022, with Dune unable to produce and deliver product, Alex's lies have finally caught up with him. No backers, including those that have paid double the price of the case for shipping, have received a completed case.
I do believe that there was an attempt to produce the cases, however lies and poor business practices have lead to a loss of confidence in the company.
Company and owner are unable to deliver…
Company and owner are unable to deliver products as promised and only offer weak excuses each time a deadline is missed. Purchased a product as well as an expedited shipping that should have allowed them to side step standard shipping cost inflation, yet 5 months later they have been unable to ship despite claiming they are assembled and ready to go on multiple occasions. It has been over a month since the owner was last heard from giving any kind of an update, and over a week since any Dune employee has even been seen online providing support.
Calling this a scam I don't think highlights the real malice the owner seems to hold for people who try to hold them accountable for their commitments. Do not purchase from this company, you will never receive a product and any promise to do so will be broken almost immediately.
Part of the coudfunding and nothing so far
I ordered on the coudfunding and its been 2 yeas noting. im just going to order a diffrent case
“Dune is back in June”
Years later still no sure fire evidence or confirmation it will ever come and in the weekly/monthly updates nothing but delays upon delays and excuses. Do but buy until all original backers get their product.
DUNE CASE SCAM
Stolen several thousands of dollars…
Stolen several thousands of dollars from our company. Under the name of Dune Case LLC, Owned by Alexander C Gomez of Wilmington Delaware - which appears to be a fake name/location.
'DUNE PRO' is a team without the…
'DUNE PRO' is a team without the ability to execute the project. Even with that much money, only 10 people received the product. Even 10 people aren't sure if they actually got it or if it's a scam. This is a team that needs absolute attention. The reason we call it a team and not a company is because it is garbage that has no value as a company.
Doesn’t deliver anything.
I doubled down and still lost…
I doubled down and still lost. I backed the project in December of 2019. After thousands of explanations as to why they couldn’t manufacture and ship, in December of 2021, they offered an 7-14 day expedited shipping option that is as expensive as case itself.
I foolishly pulled the trigger and after 6 weeks of waiting, they have yet to ship my case.
Alex scammed thousands of people
Alex scammed thousands of people. His excuse now is that shipping is too expensive and he is now asking for more money. He promised to ship everything 2 years ago. It’s 2022, and only 10 cases have shipped. DO NOT BUY INTO THIS NONSENSE. Your money will be GONE!!
Bad Projectmanagement, lies and more
Failed every deadline they set to themselves. I have Contributed in 2019 and did not retrieve my Case. They cannot afford shipping prices and ask for more money to deliver faster.
