I brought their glasses
I brought their glasses, found they are not working, cannot get focused, I request to return, they replied I can either ship them back with tracking to get full refund or get 50% refund to keep them. I chose to ship them back. I paid shipping with tracking #, found they refuse to accept, so in that way the will not refund the money. Terrible! I have to ask credit card to dispute it.
Deefocus Disgusted
Purchased 1 pair received 4 pairs charged well over $180 I've been robbed cannot contact retailer sent emails in relation to a refund no answer. Don't fit over the bridge of my nose tacky plastic cheaply made and cannot get any focus what so ever short or long witch I am both so disappointed for I'm unemployed and have very little money how can you be so dishonest it's morally unheard of for I have never been so disgusted ever before put my faith into your product and money that took me 3 months to save to be ripped off scammed . I will be contacting my bank immediately and will let them know that you have fraugently taken my money.
DeeFocus
DeeFocus. Terrible company. I ordered the adjustable glasses. Terrible product. Return process phone number (DeeFocus) takes you to a different company that can’t even find me in their system. I want to return and it is impossible to return through the rat obstacle they have provided in phone numbers that don’t work.
Very deceptive ordering process for the…
Very deceptive ordering process for the Eyewear. The website provides an offer for multiple pairs at one price. Once you've in the ordering process the multiple order purchase price changes. The screen buffers and other items are added to your order without your authorization.
The product is not very good quality material. Not worth the price, not worth the inconvenience. Charge you to return the items. Very deceptive!
Marketing strategy scammer
Their marketing strategy made me confuse when i made an order. I only want 1 pair, and accidently and don't know how, i got 3 pairs of glasses. I wrote to them immediately to cancel the order and plan to re order again for one pair. They refused to cancel the order and said to me the warehouse will dispatch within 12 hours, but i cancelled my order immediately and wrote to them several times and they told me i can send back the goods within 30 days to get a refund. For me it's just a way for people get confused when they place order, and make it difficult to get a refund. I felt like i have been scammed. I will see if the glasses work as they said. And will surely update my review once i get the glasses. Horrible experience in purchasing online.
They don't work
Sounded like an interesting idea, but they don't work. Adjusting them feels like they will break at any moment and the final result isn't very satisfactory. Just get a cheap pair of reading glasses wherever they sell them these days.
Scam
Scam. Beware. Same marketing gimmick, same lines, same lies as Zappify etc etc
People if you see Ads on YouTube for…
People if you see Ads on YouTube for ANYTHING, it is 9/10 a SCAM.
Please don’t buy these glasses, or anything advertised on YouTube.
You will get robbed!
SCAM...DeeFoscu...Don't do it!
SCAM...If I could give this company a -0, I would. So let me tell you my experiences with DeeFocus. First, on 8/8/24, I ordered online one pair of glasses to try. DeeFocus sent me a higher priced invoice ($69.90) for 2 pairs. Then, in addition to the charge from my account for that invoice, they withdrew an additional $58.24 from my account, and no invoice was ever received by me. (makes sense: I didn't order anything else other than the one pair.)
After contacting them on the same day after noticing the two bank withdrawals, I got nowhere with just statements like "we already shipped" (although they hadn't) and "you can always return what you don't want for a refund." This type of communications went on for days among their CS people, Victor, Chris, Rolly and me. One email stated, "You should check with your bank to see if they charge for foreign shipments." No, obviously, they don't.
Today, 8/13/24, I received an email stating that my inquiry had been closed. According to the tracking number forwarded and checked today, a packing slip had been issued but no product received by USPS.
This company has a slick cover page ad, youtube ads, and a website that includes thousands of positive reviews; however, these reviews are from TrustRate, which is "A Decentralized Platform for Hijack-Resistant Anonymous Reviews."
Currently, I'm in the process of dealing with my bank, a news organization with whom I am connected and any news organization that will listen, appropriate Attorneys General and spreading the word about this deceptive, illusive company, which states they are in Canada but are actually in Lithuania.
Aren't you so tired of dishonest people who live to take advantage of others? I know I am! DeeFocus: Yup, Scam!
Awesome clear vision!!
These glasses are not attractive but they are totally awesome!! I have horrible vision (-5.50) and I can see crystal clear in them. I about gave up on adjusting them because I thought I was turning dial too hard, but I kept turning until my vision was clear and it worked! Customer service is great, and I'm really glad I ordered 3 pair. I will be ordering more!!!
This is a SCAM
This is a SCAM. The offer was for $32 for 1 pari of glasses. My credit card was charged $160 - which included3 x Adjustable Glasses $119.97,3 x Extended Warranty $29.97 (not authorized), Shipping & Handling $10.95 (not presented or authorized), Original Price $482.67, Total Savings -$321.78,Order Total $160.89
DO NOT DO Business with this Company. I immediately contacted the email via the order - to cancel. I have disputed with credit card company.
Give these glasses a rubber nose!
Ordered just one pair - thankfully -because either I got a "lemon" pair or the product is just utter garbage. I think the latter. The glasses are IN NO WAY adjustable.
Moreover, they are shoddily made and look like something one would buy from a dollar-store.
SAVE YOUR MONEY because returning for refund is just one big headache.
Return process is NOT hassle-free, is, in fact, not free at all, for the purchaser is told to pay for cost to return to the U.S ...
EVERYTHING about these dee focus glasses is a lie.
Dee Focus glasses are such a joke that each pair may as well have a rubber nose attached.
Thieves
Thieves! Changing prices, shady return policy, worst product ever, not only cheap-looking and cheaply made but also unfit for purpose since they do not focus enough and my prescription is -0.50 and 0.00 for distance and +1.75 both eyes for reading, so far from being outside the range the company claims they should work within. Ugly AF and customer service is a joke. If it's true the technology exists to produce adjustable lenses that address myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism, all in one single adjustable pair of glasses, this is not it.
You can get a very decent frame + progressive lenses + blue light filter from a number of websites for the same price.
Not worth the plastic they're made from
These work if you don't mind focusing on a dime size spot in both lenses...with blurry everything else. Not worth the plastic they're made with. I bought 3, want to send em back, keep getting offered any way at all for deefocus to line their pockets, such as half money back, or send it all back but I pay for shipping. I lose because I had faith in the concept, no matter what? No...I live in poverty and am not naking some evil human more wealthy...
As has already been pointed out by…
As has already been pointed out by others; these so-called glasses are completely useless. It is impossible to focus the lenses un any meaningful way and it is a complete rip-off. Not only do you get charged £50 pounds for a useless product they also add on an "extended warranty" costing another £10 and £8.95 for postage after the sale has gone through. No way of knowing these charges in advance of purchasing. My excuse is that I was very tired that day and stupidly didn't take the time to check out the website. It has taught me never ever to buy anything advertised on YouTube ever again.
these adjustable glasses are rubbish…
these adjustable glasses are rubbish quality.. on the ones I received, one adjuster did not work.. on the one that did work, the adjustment range was pitiful..
do not buy these...
mine went straight in the bin...
Toy glasses
Cheap glasses. Dollar Tree has better glasses. The transaction was completed before I had a chance to review. Then, when I tried to cancel the order immediately, they told me it was too late, already packaged for shipping. However, it took 2 weeks to come in the mail. I was hopeful for a good product but sorely disappointed. I'm requesting a refund and filing a complaint with Paypal but it looks like that may not work after reading other reviews.
It's a duck
They use all the classical tactics of scam sellers. If it looks like a duck...
Can you give a zero?
Can you give a zero?? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! My wife bought a pair of these worthless scam frames. They took forever to arrive. I asked her how they were. She brought them to me to see. You have got to be kidding. I wanted to say, You paid over $70 for these??? But..... Serious pieces of junk with a Dollar Store build quality. And they are impossible to focus! DO NOT! I am going to look for return She says she cannot find one.
I almost made a purchase but noticed…
I almost made a purchase but noticed the price kept changing. It does some type of predictive guestimate if you change browsers (e.g., I changed from Chrome to Opera...) and noticed the change. Before purchasing, I check TP's reviews and wow... everything I was concerned about was answered. My heart/prayers goes out to all customers... in this economy, we all need help. How could they do this??? Thanks for the heads up. Didn't buy... will stick w/ what I know.
Best~
