I stayed in blå vand resort for a couple of nights with my family and friends. We enjoyed out stay there. The apartment was very clean and everything was available in it which was mantioned in the list. The apartment is quite big and is enough for 10 persons. Moreover, Jacuzzi and sauna also present inside the apartment. Staff is also very helpful too. All and all, wonderful experience and we would like to visit it again.

I was contacted a day or two before my arrival and was told that the Danish government's rules meant that the facilities would be closed. I was offered the opportunity to cancel or receive a 20% discount. Our flights were booked, so I went for the discount.

When we arrived, the apartment was freezing cold, the heating was not on. The refrigerator was on, but the door had not been closed so it was not cold. Although the description said there was a freezer, there was not one so I spent the first night cooking most of our food!

I contacted the local office and reported the issues as well as the fact that the pillows were lumpy, dirty and smelled awful. There was a dirty plate in the mezzanine bed and the bathroom was disgusting.

Later that night we noticed that the rugs were filthy so rolled them up and swept the floor and discovered that the floors were also filthy dirty and covered in broken glass! I emailed the local office, including a photograph of the swept up grime, before and after photos of the disgusting bathroom walls and floor, and I heard nothing back.

The next morning the cold tap in the kitchen broke and I discovered that you could not adjust the temperature of the shower. I emailed the office and asked them to call me. I heard nothing until a man just turned up at the door unannounced. He seemingly fixed the kitchen and bathroom taps but told me to contact the office about the other issues. The shower taps remained fixed, but the kitchen tap was not working again at the end of the day.

The next day was xmas eve. Not wanting anyone's xmas ruined, I decided not to report the kitchen tap again until after xmas.

After xmas I told them the tap was still broken and I never heard/saw from them again. I also asked why they had not replied to my other complaints and why I had not had my 20% refund. Again, no reply.

At the end of the stay I took the meter readings but decided not to leave the money as I had not had my 20% discount.

Recently, about 5/6 weeks after my stay I was sent a bill for the electricity usage. I pointed out that it should be taken out of my 20% discount and I had still not heard about my complaints and was told that my email had been forwarded to the local Danland office.

It's now been two weeks and I've heard nothing.

During our stay we saw several people using the 'closed' swimming pool, but why they were allowed to use it and not us was never answered. We were also not give the key for the laundry room, even after asking several times!

I have used Danland many times and Danland Lemvig specifically 4 times! I am so disappointed!

Best place to stay in Blokhus !!!

Great Appartments, the best service in my favourite Danish town.
