Just received delivery of our lovely gel mattress and it’s so comfy, bought for our caravan after travelling to Scotland and being crippled on the original mattress. The ordering process was spot on and a mock up drawing sent to make sure it looked right. The cover is soft and well made and we are thrilled with it. We are at an age where we need comfort and this fits the bill perfectly. This is the second mattress we have bought from this company and would definitely do so again. Many thanks

Being new to narrowboat life, we looked around for a custom mattress, found custom size beds and the super helpful Sam and Debra. I can't find any fault and can't praise this company enough. From my husband and brother doing the measuring and diagram as was suggested, to the finished product it was a great service. The mattress fits the bow end of our narrowboat absolutely perfectly, despite my husband and brother initially sending the wrong measurements, Debra was great with her design team and Sam on the phone and email was friendly and really helpful. The mattress arrived, well packaged, vacuum packed, this made getting it onto the boat so easy, delivery was super fast which was a life saver as we were moving onto the boat as liveaboards earlier than expected. The mattress went up to the 20cm we requested, we ordered the medium/firm in the Comficel gel range and weren't disappointed, slept on it now for a few nights and it is really supportive which is great for an aching back after weeks of DIY and painting. I was unsure about measuring my campervan so went to visit custom size beds in person.
They were superb, friendly and really helpful.
I placed my order and the finished product arrived in under 2 weeks.
It's perfect and I will definitely use them again and recommend whole heartedly. Thanks guys!!

Fantastic company and product. Mattress provided was exact measurements I asked for and it is a very high quality. Customer service was spot on too and answered any question the same day.

Update 11.10.2022 Reply to your response I standby what I say, infact we have turned the mattress upside down for more support, we are ordering a new mattress with springs and will never entertain another foam mattress, so if anyone is interested in a year old memory foam coolant supposedly mattress then please get in contact. 11.10.2022.

Well here is a peace of my mind, this so called all singing all dancing cool memory foam as obviously lost its memory and forgotten to cool! Correct me if I am wrong but I did not realise a daul layer meant normal foam from a cheap foam shop having a few inches of supposedly cool memory foam 'GLUED' on top, oh' something I could of picked up at a weekend workshop!
Pressure relieving! I have no idea what part of my body has been relieved, relaxed, soothed name it what you want as no amount of words would suit. In a nutshell I and my Partner have had the most uncomfortable, uncoolant, un-amazing sleep of our lives, this piece of foam has in our opinion been mis-sold to us.
The 'TRUTH' a piece of foam you can buy from any foam shop, clued on top is around 8cm of memory foam supposedly coolant, uncomfortable, discloured and in some areas looks like it has been chewed! The too layer coolant is coming away from the bottom layer thick foam, maybe the dreges of the glue were used in a rushed job!
Yes I did contact your Company after a week of purchasing your super duper mattress and was bamboozled by your experts report. A year on and I am still feeling the same I can take photographs of the appalling mattress without its cover and show the results which are absolutely disgusting. Would I buy from you again? No I would not.

Absolutely brilliant honest to a fault they could of sold me a matress ranging from £369-514 but instead gave me really good advice on how there hand made bespoke mattresses would not be suitable placed on top of another matress that can't be removed from the truck a real surprise as most companies want to sell you there product come what may. I will return to them once I move trucks

Fantastic customer service, pre and post sale of the mattress. Very open and transparent about their lead times, was advised upwards of two weeks for a custom size mattress but it came in less a week! I had a couple of questions after delivery and they could not do enough to assist, nor did they pressure me on the lead up to the purchase, which was the main issue I came across in chain mattress/bed retailers.

Great company to deal with we buy all our memory foam mattresses from them for all our van conversions never had a complaint over the last 4 years

Purchased a memory foam mattress from this company and within less than 6 months it has started to sag and cause a serious amount of discomfort and a poor night's sleep.

Contacted them several times and had a very poor response from their after sales.

Excuse after excuse how anyone can claim its acceptable for a mattress to dip 20 to 30cm in the middle is somewhat alarming.

Nearly £400 and they do not care.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this company...

Glad I paid via my credit card as I will be claiming my money back.

Nothing but a con.

Bought 2 mattreses from Custom Sized Beds - one extra long Kingsize - the other standard Kingsize

I have learned the hard way that memory foam only mattreses are nothing like sprung mattresses - they are hard, have little give, and not very good at contouring to your body.

After 6 moinths of trying to "live" with the matresses we are replacing them - broken sleep, aching joints and sore bones dont make for a great feeling in the morning

Only remedy suggested by Custom Size Beds was to spend more money on a mattress topper that "might" help
