I had a problem last year when my new Crua Core started to leak in a torrential downpour while camping in Co. Meath, Ireland.

I'm writing today to thank you for your help and most importantly for
fixing the issue. Within a week of contacting you with the problem, I was provided with a brand new replacement tent. We used that tent for the first time as a family this weekend at the Kaleidoscope festival in Russborough house. There was extremely heavy rain on both nights. It's my understanding that some people who paid a lot of money for the privilege of having a tent erected when they arrived were washed out on the first night, so bad were
the conditions. The Core however performed impeccably. We were kept bone dry both nights despite heavy wind and rain lashing us out of it.

It's often people's first response to complain when something goes wrong (including myself last year) but
not always to reach out when things work well. You have earned a loyal
customer this weekend who has been on a promotional drive for your tents
to anyone who would listen to me. It's great to see an Irish company do so well and produce something that works flawlessly in the often harsh Irish weather. Many thanks and I wish

My wife already has her eye on a cocoon, or at least a 3person duo max for the two older boys to sleep in.

Crua is one of only a few companies that both listens to its customers and stands behind its products . We can't wait to buy a Tri for the summer👍👍

I am a self proclaimed researcher meaning when I am making a purchase over a hundred dollars or so I like to know my options so I can buy the best item in my budget range.

Seeing as I am a new motorcycle adventure rider (at age 60) I needed to equip myself with a tent. I searched Google and came up with the common Big Box store assortment but they all fell short in a few areas. What I was looking for was the following:

1) Size. Large enough for myself and my gear.
2) Weather proofing to stand periods of heavy rain and be able to withstand winds of up to 80kmh.
3) Have a useful size vestibule.
4) Quality of materials used & construction.

Of all the tents I looked at the Crua checked out in all of my requirements so I purchased the Crua Duo Max along with the matching fly sheet.

When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how small the packed tent was as it was ideal for packing on my motorbike.

I did not set up the tent till my first night on my first adventure ride and it was incredibly simple. Two main poles and one smaller one for the vestibule. I had the tent set up within a very short time and was struck by the quality of the tent material down to the pegs. A nice touch was the reflective guy lines which really show up at night when a light is aimed at the tent.

The Duo Max was a perfect fit for my Mondoking XXL self inflating mattress and I had a ton of room for the gear I did not want to leave on my bike. Definitely plenty of room + for two campers.

For my specific purpose here are my hits and misses.

Hits:
-Compact size
-Quality of materials
-Good size vestibule
-Has a high degree of weather proofing (I have not tested this at this point & will update the review when conditions have been bad).
-Reasonable price

Misses
-I wish the vestibule entrance was taller like the height of the tent.
-I wish the built in vestibule groundsheet fit the entire shape/size of the vestibule and not the very small amount it does cover.

Conclusion: Overall I am very impressed with the Duo Max. It is light and small when packed up and it is simple to set up and has terrific space inside. It was obviously well designed and manufactured. I highly recommend this tent for 1 or 2 campers who are looking for extra room.

I've supported 3 of Crua's Kickstarter campaigns. We have (2) Koala single person hammock sets, (3) HoverChairs and (1) Aer. The quality has exceeded my expectations each time (which gave me comfort in the big ticket item...the Aer). I ordered the Aer Maxx first, but then realized it exceeded the limits of my vehicle. The customer service was second to none. Responses same day. They switched the Aer Maxx for the smaller one for me - no questions asked. The Aer is cozy, warm and sturdy. We haven't had extreme weather yet, but have had some wind and rain. We stayed dry and happy the whole time. I have no problem recommending Crua and would 10/10 buy again.

The best customer service I have encountered from a company in such a long time. Knowledgeable about their products and they make me feel like they actually care about the customer and their experience. Well done Crua!!

Comfortable, convenient, packable and warm! Handiest ever! Pockets for important stuff, and flexibility of use. Glad I got it and would purchase again.Recommended to friends and on line.

Excellent reviews, excellent products, and I’m really looking forward to my gear! Great customer service, but if you don’t hear from them because of their auto responder… Contact directly and don’t give up. Technology is never perfect :-)

Crua is quite expensive, but the quality of the products is very high.

The best customer service of any company I've dealt with in 20 years. I received multiple personal emails from their rep Tony O'Shaughnessy over a period of a couple of weeks in an effort to locate several of their products in the US in times of shipping and inventory shortages, and having them available on a company's site for which I had gift cards to purchase them. The kind of service that was mainstay pre-internet but frankly does not exist today. Except with Crua. I fully recommend Crua and its products with absolutely no reservations.

I cannot say enough nice things about this company and their staff. Tarah with customer support seriously moved mountains to make sure we were happy with our experience. Whatever Crua is paying her isn’t enough, I had plenty of reasons to be upset(the circumstances are irrelevant) but she had great communication and worked with me to find a resolution. She even replied to my email when they were without power and had just had a foot of snow dropped on them!!

We are very excited to use all of the products we got from Crua and will continue to sing this company’s praises!

i ordered the insulated inflatable tent fir a homeless couple..it was to arrive weeks later..it did not.. not for months later ..it is now spring and the tent is redundant for ontario canada ... additionally sending the tent UPS instead of canada post incurs me hundreds of dollars in duty fees .. that would not be so if your company had been sensitive to canadians importing a tent ..UPS had previously destroyed a colour copier i sent to my mother..so in general my sense of fairplay and justice is at a breaking point including 2.5 years of having my hairsalon business ruined ..

Recently purchased the bigger insulated cocoon and was very pleased with the quality of this tent. It truly does what it says on the tin. So glad I came across Crua and will be looking into purchasing a Crua duo maxx tent very soon as from what I see I love.

I still haven't received my order, order was placed in January and billed and paid in January. I was told shipping was the problem, "give it 2 more weeks" on February 21st...very frustrating to say the least.

First I like to start off saying we all should be kind and respectful when dealing with any kind of customer service and really life in general, we need to give real respect to receive it and learn to be kind to receive kindness. I purchased The Loj right in the transition to the American branch and didn't realize Crua outdoors hadn't started shipping yet here because I didn't read carefully enough so since I really need my order ASAP I was very worried about the situation so I reached out by Email and was contacted by an absolute treasure of a woman named Tarah and she has been a blessing always willing to give me updates and be patient with me always doing her very best to put me at ease and going the extra mile to answer any questions I have, and I am more then pleased with the customer service I have received Tarah is a real diamond and I am very grateful to her. As for the Loj I haven't received it yet, but I have no doubt that Tarah is going to do everything she can to get my Loj to me quickly and safely, and I already know I am going to love my new loj and love living in it, the Loj is a real masterpiece. Thank you Crua Outdoors for making better Products than the rest, and a extra special thanks to Tarah for the kindness and patience given to me. 10 out of 10 👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I dont typically leave reviews often but from dealing with Tony on Amazon I now understand 2 things. 1. is how this company really does go out of their way to help you and are genuine about their service and 2. Is how important reviews are to these smaller companies which is another reason I am leaving this review. I would recommend Crua to anyone looking for camping equipment and am delighted with the product and support I recieved.

I wanted to leave this review to express my absolute gratitude. In my life, there has not been many times where I have felt so appreciated and connected with a company. they have continued to help me ever since my stand broke months back (manufacture error). They have sent me all sorts of stands that they have to help find a perfect replacement. The effort my service rep (Dani G) put into making sure I am satisfied is out of this world. When I am happy with a product, I always forget to leave good reviews. But this company is something special. I also use this hammock as my bed for around 2 years with absolutely no issue other than the stand. If you have taken the time to read this review, I suggest you also take the money to invest in a company that will do anything for their customers. That is this company.

While there have been shipping delays, the customer service has been very good!

Quilt issue was not thoroughly addressed. I e-mailed concerning 3 issues with a quilt. Only one issue was addressed, the others were not mentioned. I fixed one issue regarding the the bungee "clip thing" that tightens the center and ends. The suspension issue I'll deal with later. Regardless, I still like and use your products. Thanks, Ivan.

I would definitely recommend shopping with Crua, I rang up and spoke to a woman called Danielle who gave me advice and was extremely helpful when I had questions about the Culla Maxx Tent. Will for sure be shopping with Crua again.
