Really pleased with the tent. There was an initial problem that was resolved quickly with care and understanding.
I would recommend buying outdoor gear from Crua because it's not just about sales, they are enthusiastic and proud of their products and want us to share the same experience.

I recently purchased carabiners as I needed them for my hammock set-up. From start to finish I had a great experience. I had some questions regarding suitable for my type of hammock and Tony was very helpful. The delivery was quick too and the product itself is strong and durable. I definitely recommend Crua for your camping needs.

They scam you with incomplete and misleadingly described merchandise. If this isn't intentional they need to re examine their product lines and business model

The customer service team at Crua is amazing. I was having difficulty finding an item on the website and received a response to my email in less than 24 hours! That's rare no matter what, but these days that's extraordinary. I very much appreciate their commitment to quality in their products AND their people. It shows. Thank you.

Even if the Crua's products are very rugged and solid I had a problem with a hamoc one day : it broke. (The Crua hybrid hamoc).
I mail the customser service and I can tell, that the did the MAXIMUM effort for me.
After i sent them some photos of the problem. They really care about my situation and appear to be very professional with me. They immedialtly decided to send me another product even if I live AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD (french guyana).
Then they took some news from me every weeks to know if I received the package.

I can now enjoy again my hammoc in the Amazonian jungle.

Fantastic product and the customer service far exceeds this is how you do business, keep it up Crua.

I purchased the crua duo + reflective flysheet.

When it arrived I set it up indoors and noticed it had a really nauseating toxic smell unlike any other tent I've owned. I aired it out for 3 days with the window open and the smell was the same.

I contacted crua support with questions and they were very vague and unhelpful, telling me to use the tent outdoors and that the smell would probably lessen overtime.
They also assumed the smell had already lessened by airing it out even though I specifically told them it hadn't.

The toxic smell was so strong that being in the tent at all gave me a headache so no, I wasn't going to actually camp in it like this!

Crua attributed the smell to "mandatory chemicals that need to be used for safety compliance". Funny, I've bought several new tents over the years and none remotely smelled like this.

Crua has a policy that they deduct money from a refund just for having received the tent, but they deduct even more if the tent has been used outdoors. I decided to cut my losses and just return it (return shipping costs are also on the customer).

What I wanted was some kind of assurance but instead they put all the risk on the customer (despite bragging about doing the opposite on their site).

Trusting this company was a pricey mistake. Yes, they refunded me for part of the purchase etc but I was most disappointed about how customer support does little else than point to their policies. It doesn't feel like they care and they certainly weren't thinking along.

At the very least they should put on their site that tents have a strong smell that some people might find offputting - that would have been enough for me to know not to purchase.

I had an issue with a discontinued product and reached out to their customer support team. After explaining what I was looking for they sold me a product that did not meet any of the requirements that I had specifically spelled out.

We ordered a tent and fly over 2 months ago. When we finally got through
to Crua after one month they said it would be here in October. (When I called customer service the recording says that voicemail hasn’t been set up yet!!) Called a month later and was told we will get it in November. No communication from Crua sending us updates on our purchase or apologizing for the delay via email. The reviews show they have a good product but not sure when you can get the product!

This company is one of the best companies that you could deal with. Every time I called The help wanted if needed they were extremely helpful and got what I needed quickly without a bunch of runaround. I would highly suggest this for your outdoor and camping use.

Love the layout, ease of getting around and the friendly emails sent by the staff, and the quality of the videos that help. Overall great company and product.

I finally was able to go out with my Crua Clan Maxx with 2 Crua Maxx pods attached. Took me 2 hours to set up solo (learning curve involved). I loved the space and the light and sound damping was so appreciated. So much space and flexibility in the design. Well worth the investment.
