I had about 10 items I liked and wanted to order online Unfortunately when I came to order 7 of the items were out of stock. Also this seems to happen quite often when I order from Cotton Traders

Goods were despatched quickly and well wrapped

2 shirts ordered on 28th May, credit card charged and transaction was posted today. Order still showing as “Being Processed “
I rang up Customer Service this morning (Saturday) and was assured by Anna that my order was being dispatched today.
As of 7pm 30th May, order still “ Being Processed.”
Not good enough! The order could have been dispatched on Friday and definitely today. Looks like 8 years of orders has now ended.
Sunday morning, STILL “Being Processed” 3 days after order!

I do like Cotton Traders garments as they are very wearable, good quality, accurate sizing and reasonably priced. Their online service is excellent, very prompt deliveries and great choice.

I recently ordered for the first time from this shop, and it was a huge disappointment. The sizing guide is completely wrong. I am usually a size 8, but since it was my first time ordering here, I decided to check the size guide to see which size I should go for. It clearly stated I should order a 10, so I did. The trousers were way too big. An 8 would've been perfect. Also, the trousers don't really look like they do on the website. They were supposed to be straight leg, but they are very wide.

I risked a £4 delivery charge, which is, by the way, the standard rate regardless of the value of the order. And now I have to pay another £3 to send them back. So, I've now wasted £7 because the company can't get their sizing right. This might be one of the most expensive shops out there in terms of delivery and returns prices, especially as they have so few physical shops that it's not easy to return them in-store.

I am giving 2 stars only because the order was delivered pretty promptly.

Cotton traders are always to be relied on for fit and quality.
Easy ordering process catalogue colours pretty reliable but returns are never questioned.
Clothes always wash well and rarely need ironing
My one complaint is the delivery service you use. Evri 's standards vary greatly. Sometimes the goods are delivered to my door, (I live in a flat) but only too often the parcels are abandoned outside the main entrance, despite an intercom system. Spoils the whole experience.

The chinos that I bought are really lovely. A great quality and a very good fit
