I can’t fault Colleen and the team at Redcar. They made the difficult process of organising my mum’s funeral very smooth. Colleen was kind and respectful when helping me tailor my mum’s service. The whole team were incredible and I can’t recommend them highly enough. They did my mum proud and looked after her impeccably.

Excellent service and easy to organise online.
We chose Co-op because of a recent funeral of a dear brother,the organisation was perfect and he had a good send off,so,because of his funeral arrangements ect we decided we would have Co-op also.We arranged two funerals for both myself and my husband online and it was all very easy and straightforward. Paying for them was straightforward too.We received our documents as promised about a week later all done professionally as to our requirements. Extremely happy with our funeral plans, with peace of mind.Most highly recommend Co-op.

What an absolute shambles! Appauling service at a time of great loss and sadness
What an absolute shambles. Disgraceful service at a time when you are grieving the loss of a loved one! Its been weeks since the cremation and the co op and Sunlife are batting me between the two to try and claim back the balance of my sisters claim whichamounts to thousands of pounds! She is absolutely distraught and now asked me to try and help her sort this out as she simply hasnt got the strength to keep battling. She has spent hours on the phone each between co op and Sunlife with each blaming the other. They should be ashamed! No compassion respect or care and now my sister just cannot cope. We are seeking legal advice as they are no where near to resolving the issue and it is taking a real toll on my sisters mental health. Appauling service and i urge others to read this review so as to avoid similar issues!!

Outstanding service at a sad time
Having recently lost my Father-in law - We have had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Charlotte (from the coop funeral parlour 251 Gale Street, Dagenham) who has made a very sad situation a more tolerable one with her outstanding kindness, understanding, professionalism & empathy. My mother-in law struggled to get to the parlour to collect her very much loved husbands ashes until I could get there to assist, Charlotte went the extra mile and offered to deliver the ashes personally to my Mother in Laws house (what a service) My mother in law met Charlotte when she went to chose the urn for the ashes and couldn't speak highly enough of Charlottes kindness and professionalism. Living almost an hour away this meant so much to me and my husband.

Change of price for pre booking a pure cremation
We were told that we would qualify for a promotional rate. We were not contacted for an appointment for several weeks following our Initial booking request.
I contacted coop twice to chase up the appointment.
On the day of our meeting to purchase our funerals we were told that the promo price was not available

Thoroughly recommended.
Very easy process to set up funeral plans online for my wife and myself. The coop had handled my Mums funeral a short while back and everything was handled very professionally and with real care hence the reason we decided to use the coop for our own plans.
