I absolutely hate this system
I absolutely hate this system. My WRX is a 6 speed so I had went compustar to have a remote start. I had to go to a compustar PRO dealer to get it done as Best Buy said it can’t be done. Well, 1100 dollars later this has been a mess. It’s been back to the installer twice and here we are. I am an auto technician by trade so I just took to working on it myself and once you fix one issue, it’s on to the next. The DAS2 sensor is terrible. First shock randomly goes off, then glass, then tilt. The lowest sensitivity setting has no effect either. You have to turn them off completely. Unfortunately, that sensor also has the accelerometer sensor in it. So, the car is very hit or miss on when or if it will enter reservation mode at all. The drone camera sometimes works, other times not. It’s a horrible setup. Also, the subscription is so not worth it. 1100 dollars plus 150 a year for something that rarely if ever works.
Cheap and they do not respond. Many problems
The fobs that are supplied during purchase are super cheap plastic. My drone fob broke in just a couple of weeks. If you have a vehicle that shuts down after a period of time while at idle and you attempt to restart the vehicle using the app, it does not work. However, it will tell you your ignition is running. This is extremely dangerous in summertime heat. The remote start does not work on a diesel in cool weather. It does not have to be cold, just cool. Under 50 degrees or so. Terrible customer service.
Compustar doesn't work with all cars
This has been the most expensive 😫 not working starting system I have ever owned. Installed by a 5 star Installer and it has only worked 3 times since I've had it. Keep taking it back and it keeps continuing to fail. Very unhappy with this system
What a joke their customer service is
What a joke their customer service is! I contacted them for a battery cover replacement for my remote as it became loose and eventually lost it. None available in Canada in my area and they do not ship to Canada, only US. So a week before I had a trip to US I called and spoke with warranty department to mail it to the US address where I was available for a week. Contacted their customer service 2 days before I left to see what's going on and never heard back. Did not get the replacement either after 2 weeks. Terrible service and definetly not recommending their products if for a battery cover replacement you're told to buy a new remote!
I wish I could give NO stars
I wish I could give NO stars. the product might be ok, but the customer service sucks. No one wants to talk to you about fixing a major issue. Complete garbage. I should have bought Viper instead.
Customer service phone number is…
Customer service phone number is garbage they never pick up anc compustart systems all give problems I wouldn’t recommend it to no body
Worst Christmas present i have ever received.
It would be great if the remote starter would start the car in cold weather. Mine wont start with the parking brake on. it wont stay running with the parking brake off. i have had it back to the professional installers 4 times now in the last year it still sucks. works great in warm weather, but when i really need it. it doesn't work, waist of money do not buy.
not worth the money
for a alarm rated so high on the web, it lacks a lot of programs and options less rated alarms have. And the customer service is horrible from the parent company
I purchased the T13 compustar system not worth the money it cost me😫😫
I purchased the T13 compustar system spent over $1100 dollars for the purchase and installation of this system on my 2022 Nissan Altima. I begin to have issues with this system interfering with the safety features of my car. Well this is what the Dealer ship I bought the car from told me and after they ran a diagnostic on the car I was told something is blocking communication. I relayed this information to the certified installer at which they told me the alarm is not connected to anything that would interfere with the computer system of the car. However I recieved a email from Compustar telling me they had a issue and my drone mobile which is part of the Compustar system have to be hard rest and they sent instructions on how to do it. I drove over now 120 miles to and from the ONLY authorized installer which hard rest the drone mobile device. Not ever a month later the same errors started happening again with the safety features shutting down while driving and every warning light coming on. I was told by the Compustar authorities installer again the T13 would not interfere with the cars computer.
Well I ended up trading that car in and having to buy another new car due to the fact my car was brand new I was the first driver and issues with the car did not arise until after that $1000 dollar Alarm system was put on my car. I even asked if they would buy the alarm back and I was told it couldn’t be sold as new so they can’t take it back. I basically lost over 1000$. None of the Warrentys cover refunds.
NO ONE in your firm ever contacted me.

The remote start is great so far BUT
The remote start is great so far, after 2 months. But the lack of a proper manual is a problem, and when I engaged with someone named Evan in customer support on the simple question of how long the lithium-ion batteries last, he answered 3-5 WEEKS! After several emails back and forth with Evan, followed by my research, I realized he must have been talking about the time before having to recharge the battery on models with a RECHARGEABLE battery (even though he knew what I had bought and the model number) and I emailed him suggesting that he was mixing up the two. He did not reply, and instead, I got a note saying the ticket was closed and they hoped I was satisfied with their customer service. NO, I was not.
They were prepared for me
They were prepared for me. Had everything ready to hook up in my car when I arrived. Were very efficient and quick. Explained hiw it works and how to use it.
This is the most advance system I have had installed in any of my vehicles.
This is the most advance system I have had in my vehicle. It was integrated seamlessly into my car. Everything from the 2way remote to the drone system works great. Just sorry I didn't invest on it earlier. Definitely recommend it. Great product.
Wonderful product
Wonderful product. Does exactly what I needed in a remote start. Installation was fast and efficient at Santa-Fe Auto Sound.
Customers Matter
Unique Sounds & Auto Accessories went above my expectations in making sure the alarm was set up to how and what I wanted programed. Believing a 1999 Toyota might be difficult as it is over 20 years old did not matter to the Technician James (a very patient man). The staff from Mitch down is top notch. This is the main reason I drove from Verdi NV to Carson City NV. Worth the 80 mile round trip for there service and expertness.

Working really good ,just had before a month so will submit review after 6 months
A real manual and some details would be nice
Installed by Toyota Dealer. No explanation how to use, pocket card left in the 4Runner. The only thing we have is the quick start card. On-line manual? Oh, its the quick start card too! It mentions a valte mode, doesn;t tell how to get it INTO that mode, just what to do if it is stuck in it. NOTHING mentions that it overrides my 4Runner fob when actively running from remote, that would have been good to know. Or, that there is no way to get in and drive from there with the key, you HAVE to shut it off, then back on, WITH the key?? Safety reasons. Oh, yeah, and there is a timer, I can't set it (or if I HAD a manual it might tell me how) so it runs for 10 minutes then auto shuts off. Now I know. I didnt have to go turn if back off, nor worry about how long its been running.
