Great service!
I was initially worried about using this company after reading the reviews on here (I’d booked before I read the reviews) but I’m really happy with it! A lot cheaper than other companies and the service was great. I chose the collection date, they gave me a time slot and called me 30 mins before they arrived. The 2 collection men were lovely and really helpful. 5 stars from me.

Fantastic service, do not understand how they have had bad reviews - it must be the wrong company being reviewed! Spoke to customer service twice with general questions and both ladies were so helpful! Had no problem getting through either, emails confirmed my delivery and timing and on the day I was able to track where and when they would be here. Guys who picked my bed up were also really helpful! Very decent price and all round brilliant service

Great service! Quick and easy booking. I was a little afraid to book after reading the most recent reviews but needed a next day service so chanced it. I am thoroughly impressed with the service and ease of this company. I booked online and received an email confirmation immediately. Approximately two hours later I received a text and email confirmation of pickup and first thing in the morning the driver confirmed ETA and was there at the expected time. Courteous and professional, our old bed was picked up within minutes.

This compony is offering an excellent service, forget the council for collection they offer cheaper collection and more efficient service.

I can't understand all the negative feedback because mine went without a hitch and on my experience I would highly recommend them.

I payed for their service,it as cofirmed but delayed.Finally they come in and refused to collect my matresses .I am waiting to refund my money.After 8 months no chance to get back my money. Rubbish company

Collect Your Old Bed and Rhenus Home Delivery are the same company.

I paid for a collection on Wednesday. An hour into my collection window, I got a call from the driver that he could not make it but would call me back later if he could fit the job into his afternoon schedule. It did not happen. I called him, and was told that someone from the office would call me for a new collection date. It did not happen.
I called their office, and agreed to a new collection date on Saturday. I was told that they'll send a message about the 3 hour collection window on Friday evening. It did not happen.
I tried calling their office again on Saturday morning, but they did not answer.

Everyone I talked to was very friendly, but it means nothing if the service is unreliable. I asked for a refund the following Monday, they've agreed but never sent the money back. In the end, I contacted my bank and managed to claim my money back under the Chargeback Scheme rules.

Excellent service and very well priced. I was let down by a local council pick up previously, so I looked online for an alternative. This service was quick and easy and pick up was on my selected day as promised. I had text confirmation the day before, with a 3 hour window provided on the day. Great value service will use again.

Terrible service. Finally picked up our mattress two days after the booking slot when I sent them an email threatening to contact trading standards. The company doesn't confirm pickup time, they don't answer the telephone or emails. The one star here is for the delivery men who came (from a third party company on CollectYourOldBed.com's behalf) - so no stars for the company, who were very helpful but completely in the dark about the day, time and details. Strongly advise that others don't use this service - there are other companys that collect.

Booked a collection 04/11/21… received an email and text confirming collection. No show called them on Friday they stated it was collected after explaining it’s still in my hallway, another date was arranged 09/11/2021. Again email received confirming this. No show as of 4.30pm so called them, they confirmed he was still collecting. Next day still no show/collection!! Called today who stated they only ever had 04/11/2021 as a collection date!!! Awaiting a refund. Seem like a very small company that can’t deal with the demand.

I booked this service before reading the reviews so was slightly concerned. I made the booking on Thursday and my mattress was collected today Monday. I received a text and email Friday then again this morning to confirm a time. No issue at all from me.

Trust the one star reviews, terrible service. Booked for Wednesday and waited in. Called and they said it had been moved to Thursday with no contact to confirm. Thursday I get a delivery window, they didn't turn up. Now Friday they say it's cancelled and they will let me know when they can reschedule. What the actual f. This is mad should have used someone else. Trying to get a refund now but no one's picking up the phone. Presumably the 5 star reviews are fake.

Booked a collection on Thursday 21 for Monday 25. Got an email confirmation, followed by a text on Sunday confirming the pickup timeslot and another early on Monday morning. Very nice, friendly drivers came at 8am and collected mattress. With the discount coupon code advertised onsite, it all cost about £7 less than getting Biffa to do it through the local council.

Was a bit worried as I saw all the other reviews after booking, but it went off flawlessly. Is it possible that people are reviewing a different site with a similar name by mistake?

Appalling. Took my £25 and never collected the mattress. No call. No response to email. THIS IS A SCAM.

This should be a zero but hey!
Booked a collection for Tuesday, they never showed up. I called and they said they'd come on Wednesday instead. Wednesday no one showed up, later got a cancellation email from them with no new date of collection. I have been calling but they are not picking the call...£25 gone

Had a mattress collected today, was informed the day before of a delivery time and also was informed this morning that they were on their way. Trusted my instinct and ignored the negative comments, first class service and would definitely recommend.

I paid to have my mattress collected last week. Someone was coming to collect it and then phoned 4 hours after the arranged collection time slot to say they couldn't collect as they'd broken down.

I tried ringing collectyouroldbed on 01606210114 several times, no one answered. I emailed them several times and received no response.

And then, exactly one week after the arranged collection date, (during which time I nearly paid another mattress collection company), I received a text out of the blue to say Rhenus Ltd. (the contracted collection company) was coming to collect the old mattress between 11 and 2pm. They came within the stated time slot, were very polite and took my old mattress away.

So a happy ending in the end but it would have been so much better if 'collectyouroldbed' had communicated with me when I first contacted them. They could have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress trying to get in contact with them and wondering what to do with my mattress.
