This company sucks

This company sucks. Out of an abundance of caution, I sent a test wire deposit which credited my account. Then when I sent 30k afterward, it was lost! They’re hyped about expanding globally and they can’t perform basic business functions in the US yet.

ACH Deposit disabled... I feel like I have been scammed!

I attempted to do an ACH Deposit to my bank account but it failed due to a "capability upgrade" that is being performedon the system. I also saw that the routing and account numbers were hidden. I sent a message to customer service inquiring what capability upgrade was and when the upgrade would be complete.

This is what transpired...

Hi Lathanza,

Thank you for reaching out to coinzoom support.

We understand your concern and appreciate your patience during this time. Unfortunately, direct deposits and ACH services are temporarily on hold, and we do not have an exact timeframe for when they will resume. Any ACH deposit or direct deposit made will be returned.

In the meantime, we're pleased to offer alternative deposit options:
Deposit With a Wire Transfer
Debit Card Deposit
Coinzoom Cash
These options are provided for your convenience.

Should you have any questions or require assistance with these alternative deposit methods, please feel free to contact us. We're here to assist you.

Thank you for your cooperation. Have a great day!

Best regards,
Josue

My issues started in Dec of 23, my Coinzoom debit card was compromised, after about 3 weeks Coinzoom refunded the money to my card(thank you). I requested a replacement card in Jan 24, and even spent 200 zoom to purchase another card, which there app says I should receive in 5 to 7 days. Well it's been over a month and still no card, they say the problem is with the shipper, well I don't get it. Please who ever is in charge. Please respond.

The score will be lower but I recently sent some funds to my account T#153004 and getting the run around with the company that their is a delay in the exchange. I asked for them to reverse the transaction and they keep on going back and forth with me on if I received the funds or sent the funds.
Right now I will not recommend a company that customer support is sucks. Who knows if I will ever get my funds deposited to my account or I loose whatever I had.

Hello, after investigating Ticket #153004, it appears that the delay in processing your transaction is related to the absence of a tag ID when you transferred XRP to your account. When you look up the XRP wallet address, we have a popup window that explains "Both an address and XRP Tag are required to receive XRP." You must click "I understand" to get to the address, which appears on the following screen along with the referenced tag.

Hello,

We apologize for any inconvenience you are experiencing with Google Authenticator.

We understand that the security of your funds is important to you, and we want to help you resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

There are a few possible reasons why your Google Authenticator code may be invalid:
The code has expired. Google Authenticator codes are only valid for 30 seconds, so if you don't enter it in time, it will no longer work.
Your phone's clock is not synced with CoinZoom's clock. To make sure your clock is synced, go to your phone's settings and enable automatic time zone detection.

You are using the wrong code. Please make sure that you are entering the 6-digit code that is displayed in the Google Authenticator app for CoinZoom.

If you have checked all of the above and you are still getting an invalid code error, please contact us directly through our support page, https://support.coinzoom.com.

Sincerely,
The CoinZoom Support Team

Customer Service line voice mail full.... This "company' pocketed in my money due to inactivity. All of it! I was not comfortable trading, so I didn't. Why would the money totally disappear. I understand some monthly fee, that I can see deducted, but no, Just all gone. Avoid this place.

Hello, accounts that have not had funding or trading activity for a period of 6 months are considered inactive. A small monthly fee of $2.50 may be charged in order to continue the account on the Exchange as explained in the CoinZoom Terms and Conditions.

This account had no activity for 28 months, minus 6 months, so 22 months at $2.50 per month = $55. The account had a balance of 500 Zoom Tokens.

At the time the inactivity fee was charged, Zoom Tokens were valued at 0.0148 cents each. 500 X 0.0148 = $7.40, which was much less than what was owed at the time.

Please contact us directly through live chat or support ticket at https://support.coinzoom.com.

Hello - Based on your review, you have been the victim of a scam of someone using CoinZoom's name and/or likeness. You were never dealing with CoinZoom directly.

We urge you to exercise caution when making decisions regarding your finances as well as your personal data and only do business with companies after careful research confirms that they are reputable. Never entrust an individual you have met online with your finances or your personal information. Although these may look and sound authentic, they are designed to deceive you.

Unfortunately, scammers hijack our name and use similar websites to steal people's money. Some of the things to watch out for: Emails that appear to be from CoinZoom but are in fact slightly different in spelling. Example: support@CoimZoom.com, support@ColnZoom.com, etc. Notice the slight difference in the names, CoinZoom with a lowercase ‘L‘ in place of the ‘ i.' CoinZoom spelled with an ‘M.‘ There are also cloned websites that look identical to the CoinZoom website. Look at the website address. Our only official websites have a domain of coinzoom.com (eg: www.coinzoom.com, trade.coinzoom.com). Any other website address is not owned by CoinZoom.

Hello, upon review, we found a single ticket with multiple back-and-forth responses regarding a wire deposit that never reached us. We understand that this would have been a frustrating experience. We see that our customer support and finance department responded to your questions within minutes of receiving them. Since the referenced wire never reached us we had no way of processing it.

We'd love the opportunity to work with you going forward. Please find the "Deposit With a Wire Transfer" article for instructions on sending a wire and you can also contact us via chat or support ticket by going to https://support.coinzoom.com if you'd like us to walk you through the process.

Deposited $500 via ACH transaction and…

Deposited $500 via ACH transaction and I'm still waiting for the hold time to end 3 weeks later. I can understand 7 days but 3 weeks??!! that's almost a month it's irritating and it makes me tempted to look elsewhere to deposit cash. I understand the need for hold times to protect customers from scammers but 3 weeks is a bit ridiculous. It's irritating more than anything. Heck even Coinbase has shorter hold times.
Coinzoom! Shorten the hold time to 7 business days geez. Waiting almost a month for deposits to go through is absolutely ridiculous. Fix that before I leave.

Hello, we impose hold times on certain types of deposits to protect ourselves from having funds deposited, converted to crypto, and then sent out, followed by a chargeback or reversal.

We also impose hold times to add a layer of protection for customers that are tricked by scammers into depositing their life savings, purchasing crypto, and then sending that crypto to an external wallet only to realize after the funds are gone that they have been scammed.

Recently, one such customer told us that the hold time saved her life savings and her home.

I deposited a small amount to buy NFT which was fine. Now I am unable to withdraw until kyc is complete (which is fine). However have tried several times to complete kyc, even having support reset my account, but it fails instantly on all occasions. Guess I will write off my funds / NFT. But advise others to avoid at all costs.

Not trustworthy

I uploaded small amount of cash twice on their app then decided I want to take the monies out because I was locked out of my account and had a very difficult time to get back in. So I reached out to them about the matter and this is where it got even more complex since they were determined that I have to allow a video call which I did not feel comfortable to do, so I refused. I asked for other options since I do not agree to that and they were adamant so I let it go for a while. About a year later I tried logging in again, this time I was successfully but by then I was totally turned off and lost any little trust I had left, so that is when I decided I would take my cash out and return it to my bank account but I couldn’t get my cash out. So I called them and told them the challenges I was having to take my money out, they claimed they will look into this and when the person responded to me he said the reason why I cannot get my money back is because it was a bonus offered to me from them which was totally false!! The money was all mine that I uploaded to their platform directly from my bank account. I eventually deleted their app from off of my devices.

Hello, we have reviewed your information and find that two-factor authentication is enabled on your account. If you've lost access to the OTP software you used to set it up, we do have a process that allows you to reset it. The point of two-factor authentication is to make sure that no one can access your account by hacking your email address.

Please contact us directly at https://support.coinzoom.com for instructions on how you can do this without doing a Zoom Meeting.
We do not restrict access to your funds based on them being from a bonus.

What you describe matches the action of known scammers that are not associated with us. These bad actors confuse victims by using our names with emails and websites that are similar but not identical to our actual email and website.
