Have received a cheque for £750 a…

Have received a cheque for £750 a couple of days ago.Not happy with the amount should be treble that at least. Like all other claimants had no luck with entering bank details etc. Told the young lady on the phone send me a cheque which they did after several weeks. There’s definitely something “fishy” going on.

Do not accept their ridiculous policy of Non Disclosure Agreement NDA

They compelled me into giving my bank details to then without explaining what my payout was at all. I logged into the portal and it wouldn't allow me to proceed but must enter bank details to only then fob me off with a meagre £750 for a 30k Audi SLine A4. I emailed Kayleigh requesting my compensation payout but she adamantly refused to tell me what the amount was and how much they got payout. If it was an out of court settlement then I want to know what I was entitled too. Im very upset. I went to CAB who said that if they've been representing US then we have employed them on our behalf hence instructed to represent us so what the outcome was, we have a right to know what our compensation payout was. Period. Im gonna pursue this.

Scam, do not settle

Scam, sworn to silence! Not giving any information on costs etc and formula used to produce compensation. This cannot be right and they need looking into. I am going to see if they have a ombudsman or similar.

Low payout. Needs investigating.

Like everyone else I got £750 when expecting at least double that. Just an email with a note that if I accepted the money I couldn't talk about the payment!

You must keep strictly confidential and not disclose to anyone (i) the fact that the claim has been settled, (ii) the sum that you have been paid (with the exception of informing, if necessary, HMRC or your accountant), or (iii) any terms or details of the settlement.

I asked LGP Law what the total settlement was, who was on the board of advisors and whether there were tiered payments based on criteria like car value and length of ownership. No reply. It seems like LGP made an unknown out of court settlement and have swanned off with a serious chunk of cash.

Worst payout in the industry for VW…

Worst payout in the industry for VW claims avoid at all costs. I spent £35k on a new Q5 and used these for a claim. My wife a an old second hand golf for about a year and got £1200, they have settled ( yes settled so cannot challenge) for £750. Disgusting company and I am also complaining to the Law Society and suggest all the other unhappy customers on here do like wise.

Only £750 payout

Only £750 payout. Advertising £3000 still. Other companies seem to be giving fairer deal. Do not reply to emails asking how it is calculated. All very underhanded.

Payout less than a third of other firms

It's a shame these review weren't arround when I signed up. It's taken over 3 years with minimal communication to get my vw emissions claim. The average claimant received £2100. That's the average after firms like this dragged it down. Clean air emissions are only paying out £750. My two friends who started a claim 6 months after me got paid out last year and recieved over £3000 each. Same claim but with two different firms. Clean air claims refuse to share how they calculated their payout, have locked you in when you started the claim. And give you the choice of accepting or getting nothing. Avoid avoid avoid

SCAMMERS!!!!!

Total scammers, don’t fall for their lies. I have been waiting for 3 years, and responded with no evidence that my application was not successful. These have all my documents and I don’t know what they’re doing with them. I believe my application and they took the money for it.
BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scam or just a rip off?!

I can't tell actually if it's an illegitimate email I've received telling me of their settlement and my portion of that, or if it's just very unprofessionally done!
No documentation provided, just a figure, a link, and give us ur bank details. The figure is around 1/3rd of what the "average" settlement amount has been touted as. Considering they advertised a 30% cut initially, and tried to change it to 50% a while back (when I disagreed & told them to redact my claim), their email gives the customer ZERO idea of how their settlement figure has been arrived at. I've asked for that information. I will update here to help/warn others as needed as it's just started.

Give it time

Made the claim a couple of years ago, does take time if you are eligible. Using the online portal requires your full name. Had my payment yesterday. 750.00. So all good.

Do your homework before signing up

An efficient service with a 3 figure payment after about 2 years. My concern is that the compensation should have been more, but I had to accept the offer, or reject it and loose the right to make another claim.
