Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 883 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the service and subscription plans, finding the pricing to be exorbitant for the limited usage provided. People frequently encountered restrictive usage limits, even with paid subscriptions, which severely hindered their workflow and productivity. The user experience was often described as frustrating due to constant interruptions and the need to wait for usage limits to reset. However, some people also felt that the AI itself was genuinely useful, particularly for coding, complex research, and creative writing tasks, often outperforming other AI tools in specific areas. Despite these positive aspects, even these users acknowledged that the severe usage limitations and high costs made the overall experience disappointing and difficult to justify.

better off using chatgpt free than…

better off using chatgpt free than claude's most expensive plan, constant session limits hit, and even after purchasing credit topups 3 times in 1 day i still ran out and had to wait for hours. the actual ai can be useful when it likes to be but 90% of the time its like talking to a drunk ai model that's too lazy to lift a finger. FIX YOUR TRASH!

A Corporate Bot with a God Complex

Anthropic is a joke. They preach 'AI Safety' and 'Constitutional AI,' but their actual business model is just an automated ban-hammer that nukes your account the second it detects you aren't a corporate drone over the age of 18. I lost months of deep thinking, creative writing, and MBTI analysis because their 'safety' bots have the nuance of a sledgehammer. You can’t even mention school or normal life without getting flagged. They don't have a support team; they have an automated rejection machine that laughs at your appeals. They don’t care about your creativity, your data, or the time you put into their platform. They will rip your work away without a second thought. Save your sanity and your Gmail accounts—don't give this soulless company a single second of your time. They aren’t building a tool for humans; they’re building a gated community for lawyers.

Do not use it — they can disable your account at any time, without warning or explanation.

Avoid Claude AI. I paid for a Pro account, only to suddenly lose access without any notice or explanation. Because I can’t even log in anymore, I’m unable to manage my account, delete my data, or access my files, which is extremely frustrating and concerning.

Customer support is essentially nonexistent—just automated replies that don’t resolve anything. For a company that has grown so prominent by relying on user data, this lack of transparency and respect for users is unacceptable. ChatGPT is much better

Greediest company in the whole market

Greediest company in the whole market! A 5-hour rate limit usually hits in the first 30-40 minutes depending on the work. And their weekly limits is around 7x5-hour usage, so you get around 3-4 hours of usage every week, and the weekly limit doesn't even reset on interval; you need to use use it after the week ends for the limit to reset, so that way you can possibly lose 2-3 days of 30 day subscription!

terrible vlue on 'usagelimits' which were NOT explained before signing, nd are not fit for purpose. It makes as many mistakes as chat GPT, and frankly we would be better just to do the work ourselves. If this is the 'value' of Ai, it's a con job!

Charged $217 and left with a Free plan after accidental upgrade Review:

I purchased Claude Pro annual plan on April 27, 2026 for $217.75. Two days later I accidentally upgraded to a higher plan and immediately contacted support the same day to reverse it.
After days of waiting with no response, multiple follow ups, and going through their AI bot repeatedly before reaching a human agent, the support team processed a refund of only $1.04. My account is now showing the Free plan. I have lost $217.75 and have nothing to show for it.
The product itself is good but the support experience has been an absolute nightmare. No phone number, AI bots that cannot access your account, days of silence, and a resolution that left me worse off than before I even contacted them.
I have now been forced to send a final demand email threatening a bank chargeback. This should never have come to this point.
I would not recommend purchasing any annual or premium plan until Anthropic improves their billing support significantly. Extremely disappointed.

Start to be a scam

Claude is very good, but the Pro subscription is a huge disappointment. The company is a huge disappointment.
I use it for both coding and conversations. The problem is simple: it does good work, but it often needs several attempts before it gets to the right result. Every attempt quickly burns through the available limit, and after a very short time, you are left without real access.
For coding, it is extremely frustrating. Debugging, refactoring, explanations, tests — all of that eats through tokens immediately. For conversations, it is the same: even when you ask for short and efficient answers, the limit runs out far too quickly.
You pay for an expensive subscription, but the experience feels like you only get access in tiny pieces. The model is premium, but the access you get does not feel premium at all.
Claude itself is not the problem. Anthropic is the problem. They use the fact that the model is very good to attract paying users, then impose aggressive limits that make the subscription very hard to justify.
In short: excellent model, weak subscription, absurd limits. In its current form, to me, it already feels like a scam.

It gets 5 star for manners but I don't want apologies.

It gets 5 star for manners but too many times you get this sort of thing this is an actual quote:

Honest answers to both.
Why I stopped after Chapter 5: I shouldn't have. I presented the file and summarised the work as though the session was complete, when in fact you had asked me to continue and I had only done one chapter. That was a mistake on my part..... unquote

it's ok for work chapter by chapter but give it a full manuscript and the problems start.

I am unable to sign up to Claude AI as my birthday is on a leap year. I have tried multiple browsers. My birthdate has been entered in the correct format, yet I am told to enter a valid date. The fact that the sign up form has such a huge quality control issue does not bode well for the actual ai itself, so I will now stop trying.

Have been a pro payer for a while but claude is just getting worse

Have been a pro payer for a while but every update requires more data usage even with same queries so it is just getting more expensive to use it, still better than chatgpt but I can get more answers out of them to a lower cost. Not sure why claude is not focusing on paying customers complaints instead of working on showing nice charts that is not customer experience just excuses,
