deck warped after a few months in the sun
installed Cladco's Nordeck product on a balcony and within a few months the board were warpeed and lifting at the ends. Discappointing as this is marketed as one of their premium products.
Contacted Cladco sent pictures and the response was that the boards should have been fixed 13mm from the end rather than the 100mm my installer had used. Fair enough. I don't think moving the fixings by less than 9cm would have made any difference to the performance of the material. IF PVC decking isn't supposed to be exposed to UK sunlight and heat don't sell it as a premium option as an alternative to composite and wood decking.
Also, rather than try to brush me off - which is what it felt like - it would have been encouraging if their customer service team had tried to resolve the situation rather than offering the advice of weight it down at the end to see if that will solve it.
Not to worry there are plenty of other places to get decking but I won't be buying from Cladco again.

Having reviewed the images provided, our assessment was that the ends of the boards had not been fixed in accordance with the installation requirements, which specify that the first fixing should be positioned 13mm from each end of the board. Where the ends of PVC decking boards are left unsupported, movement can occur, which may result in lifting or bowing. To resolve the problem, we recommended adding additional fixings in the correct positions to ensure the boards are properly supported.
We appreciate that this was not the conclusion you were hoping for, and we're sorry if our response left you feeling brushed off. That was certainly not our intention. The recommendations provided were based on the installation guidance and the information available to us, with the aim of helping to resolve the issue without the need for more extensive remedial work.
We value all customer feedback and are sorry to hear that on this occasion we have not met your expectations.

Should be able not to give any…
Should be able not to give any stars.The decking was discoloured ( grey not charcoal ) that i ordered, also i was told that because i`d mounted it horizontally not flat that was why it had become discoloured & due to pooling water even though it hadn`t seen any rain or water, i then sprayed water on some off cuts which were laid flat on the ground which is how you would mount them as decking & none of them became discoloured. I only wanted a new decking panel sent to me to replace the discoloured one which Cladco Profiles refused to do. I`ll buy from Dino Decking next time.

Having reviewed the information provided, our Customer Support team were unable to establish that the discolouration was present when the boards were delivered. Additionally, the boards have been installed in a manner that falls outside of our installation guidance, which means the product is not being used as intended and the warranty cannot be applied in this instance.
As outlined during our correspondence, our decking boards are not designed to be installed on their sides, and we therefore cannot offer replacement boards where the installation does not follow our published recommendations.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Quality limited and excessive delivery costs.
Decking materials were ordered and delivered, some of the components were not particularly good. The tape was rather poor quality and some of the end caps for the decking were not easy to fit and bits would snap. I think the delivery cost of £195 was excessive.

Poor customer relations and service
Apart from giving me the wrong screw colours and forgetting to give me the foam inserts they also gave me a damage sheet. 30% refund I was told I would receive no other options. When I returned home I contested the 30% refund and asked for a full refund on the damaged sheet (£26 approx). They refused the full refund and said “ we could have had a new sheet cut and dilivered free of charge’. That was not offered to me at the time of collection.
My advice to 1st time customers if Cladco:
1: Double check all your orders on collection or delivery!!!
2: Any damage,do not except 30% refund. Insist replacement and free delivery.

Faded panels
Fits together well and quite easy to install along a 1m wall. However once up I noticed 2 strips have what looks like sun fading on part of them. When installing i thought was just moisture from the rain. Bad quality by the look of it, put me off the product.

New roof project.
I found the on line calculator easy to use, ordering was also easy.Delivery details were given and the delivery driver was very helpful. I was extending an existing shed and the profiles matched in really well.
The roof was installed in a day and looks great!
I would highly recommend this product and the company.

Good Quality
Good quality decking was delivered on time. Ordered decking, edging, screws and a set of drills bits but was disappointed that none of the drill bits fitted the black screws. Drills bits /screws aside, very happy with my order. The decking looks fantastic.
